You are probably right! I should look at the positive but I just don't see any here. You take a guy who has been to the playoffs, hire him, he goes .500 for two seasons, and then fire him. You replace him with a guy who has never been a HC, has a worse defense then the guy you just fired, and say he is great because he is a good wrestler. I also just read that article where MC has worked with Steelers coach Tomlin. Whaley has deep ties to the Steelers. 1+1 = Whaley was looking for a young coach because that is how his former employer did it and it worked, then talks to his guys in Pitt who recommend MC because Tomlin knows the guy. So maybe MC works out, but the Bills will not make the playoffs next year and possibly the year after. Also, the Pegulas are not going to be able to sell seats this year like they have in the past. No one is excited over this hire, just hopeful.

The Bills forgot to mention the Panthers finished 23rd this year in defense and gave up 300 yards to Julio Jones. That should have been number 6. Now go ahead and tell me how horrible I am but think about this: MC had 6 years to build his 4-3 Def in Carolina and finished at 23rd. He now is tasked with taking a 3-4 DEF with some 4-3 players and rebuild it to be competitive. Gilmore is likely gone, Z.Brown has pretty much said his goodbyes, Alexander more than likely wont be back, A.Williams may retire. If you put your trust into Darby, Seymor, Roby and White, you are nuts. This team was just set back at least 1 year but more than likely may hit the 19 year mark without a playoff appearance. The only thing positive is M.McCoy coming, but more then likely he will go somewhere else. If McCoy chooses wisely and goes somewhere else, Rex, MC and the new coach in 2019 will be getting paid by Pegula.

McCoy would be great; however, he will not come to Buffalo. If he has a choice between the dumpster fire at onebills drive and Elway, the easy choice is Elway.

Of course. With Rexy they executed the Pegula Plan; retread coach who possibly could be successful. He did the same with hiring Ted Nolan on the Sabres. Now its the Pittsburgh Plan Whaley is executing; hire a young guy because, hell it worked in Pittsburgh with Tomlin, so it has to work here in Buffalo. This hire actually sets the organization back a couple of years. Might make the playoffs in 2-3 years or Pegula will be paying Rexy, McDermitt and the new coach in 2019.

Although I do think your assessment is correct, Marrone was not too bad as a head coach in Buffalo. He saw the escape clause and ran for his life.

Good for Jax. They will be able to establish a winner there in Jacksonville. All the while, the dumpster in Buffalo is starting to melt.

What if all of this is BS and the Bills keep him. I would not be opposed as any FA QB worth bringing in (ie can replace TT) is going to cost more. And if they really want to release him, Whaley put the organization in this position with expert contract negotiations.

Well those coaches will have to want to come to Buffalo. It's a hard sell knowing they only have two years to get to the playoffs or get fired.

I hope they fire both, and send Whaley back to the steelers as a college scout. All three are terrible and have dragged this franchise down even further down the hole. But, jettisoning Rex and TT is not going to make this team go to the playoffs next year, just the opposite. A new coach will have to implement a new system, which then everyone has to learn. Everyone on this board thinks firing Rex and cutting TT makes this team a playoff bound team in 2017, it really does the complete opposite.

Whaley is a key piece in this mess at One Bills Drive as much as Rex and Tyrod are. If they fire Rexy, hopefully they give Lynn a shot at the HC job. Maybe Rexy can fix his **** next year if Lynn gets to run the Offense.

I think you have to look at Whaley as well. He is much as responsible for this roster as Rex. Clay just dropped a pass that was IN HIS HANDS. I think Whaey, Rexy, and TT are the three musketeers.You have to boot them all. Ok, I'm not saying the Bills keep Rexy and TT. I say the Bills fire Rexy and TT, resign Manuel and hire Jim Schwartz as HC.

Your probably right. Rex and TT go, and the Bills win the super bowl next year. This roster is garbage. The OL is just terrible and Rex's play calling is terrible.

I do not think this will happen. Rex has another year at the least. If you dump Rex and TT this year, this team will not be able to compete for 3-5 years. I know we all hate Rex and TT right now, I would like to see them both go and we get a great coach with a great QB but its not going to happen. Plus, if Rex and TT go, Whaley would have to be out to. He built the roster.

I do not know what they do at this point. TT has shown some bad technique this year. Unless they resign Manuel, I think they pick up the TT option. They need to have either Manuel or TT with them next year. Even if they draft someone, they need a starter until that guys is ready. Rex, Whaley and TT are the three musketeers in Buffalo. One for all, and all for one. If one goes, they all go. So the Steelers game is not the end of line for TT. He will be in a Bills uniform next year and hopefully he can figure it out. Whaley needs to get some OL men.

What the Bills need are some O line men. Pretty ****ty line and TT holds the ball longer then anyone in the league.

Tyrod Taylor's throw to Watkins in the 3rd couldn't have been better. I had to make sure TT was throwing it. I guess it shows what a QB can do when he has good WRs.

Well Brady would suck given the talent of the available WR the TT has to work with. Goodwin just runs fast and goes deep, Tate and Hunter have hands made of oil, and Clay was not worth stealing from Miami. So when your best RB goes down and clearly TT is hurt (he is not moving or cutting as normal), of course you go to the check down. I think TT can be a good QB, he just needs Watkins, Woods and Harvin to all be on the field and hopefully, Hunter and Tate to become the WRs their prior teams though they were.

Is this honestly a question? As long as the Bills have a chance to make the playoffs, TT needs to be the starter.

Ryan's defense was pretty good today. Far from perfect. Tyrod Taylor was the one who needs to do something. Lynn too; his throw first approach is not doing anything to help the team. TT is very inaccurate and does not make good decisions. its night and day each week. we never know who we are going to get.

Im ready to see what Manuel can do. TT is a mess. His accuracy is all off and he locks onto the receiver right out of the pocket.
