  1. The Titans have a "winning tradition?" Not really. But yes, Buffalo isn't a place players want to go, unless they're well-paid. Forget Crumpler: Gonzalez.
  2. ILBT's.
  3. It's easy, just not cheap.
  4. Sorry but recent history suggests the Bills still would have lost with Trent.
  5. I wanted the Bills to lose today. I know I'll catch spit for it, but I figure I can't be any less of a "real" fan than those looking for Ralph to die, the team to be moved, players to be assaulted, etc. The Bills just aren't a good team this year. Winning a meaningless game or two now doesn't give me ANY satisfaction at all, and instead would leave me with a "what if" feeling. But what a loss does is give the Bills better draft position and puts one more nail in Jauron's coffin. I can't totally blame him for everything, but the guy just isn't a winning coach. I gave him until this year, and was encouraged with the 5-1 start, but 6 of the last 7 games have been horrid. I don't care about the extension. Ralph should have waited until after the season to give it to him, and that's his fault. So have at it. Call me names. I can take it.
  6. Yes. "Ralph Wilson should die so (hopefully) a new owner will buy the team, (maybe decide to) keep it in Buffalo, and (unlikely) spend a ton of money on players and coaches, and (then, just with the tiniest bit of luck) I can see my team win games!" Pathetic. And please STOP with the stupid "Ralph should sell the team now!" He's not going to sell. For the same reasons you'd be a fool to sell an expensive asset if you didn't need to, just before you died: capital gains and then the death tax. The sad thing is that his wife doesn't want the team, because it could pass to her without the inheritance tax being an issue (until she died).
  7. Sad but true points. And in the end, win or lose, these guys are still getting paid good coin to play a game.
  8. Not really. Blame the Jets for trading for Favre (for a 1-year QB fix) and giving the Dols a good QB. Also having a healthy Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams, and a weak schedule, helps a lot. And Ralph put the organization in TD's hands. He was credited with rebuilding the Steelers, but it didn't work out that way in Buffalo, mainly because of his HC choices.
  9. The Bills miss McNally. And losing Schobel was a killer. Since we're playing 20/20 hindsight and all. BTW, at least McKelvin wasn't inactive today, like Vernon Gholston was.
  10. I heard Dierdorf mention this, as well as others. Does anyone buy this? After all the bad coaching decisions, how could they?
  11. No argument there.
  12. Great time to have a defensive meltdown, Ravens.
  13. Gotta kick the FG.
  14. Yeah, and he mostly fails. Same thing with the Dols' owner. They haven't made the playoffs the past 6 years, despite their much-hyped signing of Nick Saban and trade for Daunte Culpepper. It looks like they're headed in the right direction now, but people thought that after Saban's first year.
  15. Not so fast. Matt Ryan looks like the real deal, but he has a great running game (2nd in the NFL) and was picked 3rd overall, and there was no consensus on him being this good prior to actually playing. Likewise, Joe Flacco is the beneficiary of a great running game (4th in the NFL) and great defense, but isn't a good QB (yet). If anything, it shows the importance of a good running game.
  16. Actually I think he caught up with being Trent Edwards. A fumble here, a pick there. Different QB, same results. Hmmmm.
  17. Wait, I thought that spending tons of money on coaches and players was the guaranteed way for the Bills to have success? If not having a state of the art stadium? What's Danny doing wrong?
  18. I can't wait for stupid fans to die.
  19. So THAT'S when he got the groin injury.
  20. That comment was obviously a joke.
  21. The only way to sell the team if they keep Jauron is by fixing what Ralph said is the problem: talent, or lack thereof. I think there would be a lot of excitement if they added a couple guys in the vein of Peppers, Suggs, Dansby, and maybe a QB like Warner (assuming he's not re-signed).
  22. I hear you, but I still like that song as well. I was listening to a song the other day. It was a Hall & Oates song ("Say it isn't so?") and it had different lyrics. I was thinking "damn, now they're not just sampling bits of the songs, they're using the whole song and adding different lyrics!
  23. "Some of the things" like throwing down field and not always taking the checkdown?
  24. Bahahahaha! AKC, is that you?
