  1. No Superbowl wins since Weis and Crennel left says yes.
  2. It thought it was going to be Byron Boston. Now THAT would have been poetic justice!
  3. That pretty much sums-up the hypocrisy. But hey, I'll take a season like JP had in 2006 from Trent next year, and not complain.
  4. Wow, didn't know there were so many desis on the board (parents emigrated in the 60's and I was born here)! The poverty of 70's Bombay was the main focus of the movie. That is, a "slumdog" who lived through some of the worst experiences, who made something of himself (even though he was just a chaivala) and got a chance to become a millionaire. I agree that the modern Mumbai was shown to be a modern, up-and-coming city, but not without the poverty of any modern city, and that's probably what FiC missed. As for myself, I liked the movie. I didn't think it was great, but I love the attention it's getting.
  5. Yep, it was in the 1992 no punt game. Don't know who did it, though.
  6. Nope. I think he's one after 2009.
  7. If that's the play I'm thinking of, while most of Johnson was in the endzone, the ball was outside of it.
  8. Yet being the key word.
  9. Could be a 2nd round steal.
  10. Another failed Belichick disciple coming up.
  11. LOL! Hardy won't be out the whole 2009 season. Barring any unforeseen setbacks (see: Brady, Tom), he'll be back practicing in about 6 months, like most world-class athletes. That's the beginning of June and a month and a half before training camp even starts. And he'll be on the PUP list until he's ready to get off of it, meaning at-worst, he's back midway through the season.
  12. Why wait? Why bother even posting after Jauron was retained?
  13. Don't give me that 11 TD's and 10 INT's runaround. I was talking about those 5 games that cost the Bills a chance at a playoff season and his TD-turnover ratio. Outside of the Cheatriots, none of those teams were that good. And the difference in his play was like night and day.
  14. Already linked in the Devin Thomas thread.
  15. He's taking a risk for sure. His draft stock will ostensibly never be higher than it is now. He'll need to win the Heisman and championship game, and seen an equally weak or weaker QB draft class (that's almost impossible) next year to be in a better situation.
  16. Burress was a huge loss for them.
  17. The bye week hasn't been too kind to those teams. I wonder if the Chargers will make it 0-4 for the top seeds?
  18. There are tons of them, but that one's not quite working for me. There's one a comedian once said: "Big ol' Jed had a light on."
  19. Good point. Out of 13 TD passes by the QB's this past year, 2 of them (15%) went to Hardy. And one was a game-winner.
  20. He wouldn't have. And then he would have blamed everyone but but himself for losing it.
  21. Thanks. Never knew what the term for it was before.
  22. Article on Hardy: http://www.journalgazette.net/apps/pbcs.dl...10418/-1/sports Suffice it to say he's nothing like Devin Thomas.
  23. So wait, your "excuse" is that it's all the coaches fault. How is that any different from my excuse that it's the QB's fault? But during that 4 game losing stretch, Trent had 3 TD's and 10 turnovers (8 INT's and 2 lost fumbles). The coaches didn't cause him to commit those turnovers, did they? And his performance in the first half against the 49'ers was poor as well.
