    Most of the players who grew up in bad neighborhoods own guns. Illegally too, I might add. This is a non-issue. Now if he were actually carrying it on his person, like Plax was, that's a different story. But it was found in his trunk.

    While the NFL has a different standard, if Lynch gets it reduced to a misdemeanor or less, Goodell cannot suspend him for that. Then it opens up all misdemeanors to suspension.
