Answer - its all coaching and inconsistency. If you hire a top notch GM you eliminate the need to get a "big time" coach. We have got to develop a culture of winning again, a system a plan... It starts with a GM. We need a strong experienced GM that can stand up to Wilson and force him to commit the money needed to win. There are plenty of lesser known coaches that could come in and turn this thing around... of course with the right support. If you get a chance watch Stanfords Bowl game against Oaklahoma... Harbaugh is the real deal! I would love to see him come in to coach the Bills under a experienced GM. Reese & Harbaugh!

Its absolutely the right call in Carolina.. Fox is a great coach. I was hoping they would crumble to the pressure to hire Cowher and we could pick up a pissed off Fox. We have got to hire a GM in early January!

I know hindsight is 20/20 .. but you couldnt have made any worse front office decisions if you tried! I honestly think this offseason will be active and interesting. This whole thing has come to a head... even Wilson realizes its time to step up or risk losing the fan base.

He will go down as the worst Free agent signing in the history of the franchise. However; the attacks on the franchise, other players and the city of Buffalo will not start until he signs another contract. Which might take awhile, his skills have declined the risk/reward is no longer in his favor. And all the posters that say "he was wide open" are full of crap. The coaching staff should be shot for keeping him in the line up and taking valuable reps away from Hardy, Johnson and Evans.

It seems we have some posters that would have argued it wasn't Don Beebee's job to run down Lett in the Super Bowl... I mean they were getting blown out and WRs aren't supposed to tackle. Its called class... TO never will have it. It hasn't mattered if his teams are winning or losing. Class will tell Shnitt will smell.

I agree -- and put Edwards in that category also. The management of this OL this year proves just how poor the Front Office is!

If you think its okay to give up on your team because of the circumstances around you... you're a bum. I don't care if you have put up HOF stats over a career... TO is still a bum. The Bills don't owe him anything they paid him 6 million a year to come and play... there are plenty of other teamates of TO that have been directly effected by the circumstances of this horrible season and they haven't given up. This was a marketing move. True football people in the NFL have given up on TO and the Bills are fools to have put up with his antics... this "he was open" stuff is BS! I hope next weeks QB gets in his face if he misses a pass or Wilson calls short timer and tells him to sit his butt.

Perry short timer needs to sit his butt. He is joke and will throw this entire organization under the bus the day after he gets his next contract. What a mistake; it frames why we need a football guy running this team.

The good news is there will be plenty of former HC looking for coordinator positions.

Whether Trent, JP or Fitz sucks or not is disputable... whether our OL sucks or not is not disputable.

First of all the last thing I am concerned about is my credibility with posters on this board. I don't have any love for Trent Edwards, I believe he is a above average QB in this league that will flourish under better circumstances. TO has no option but to keep his mouth shut. His production is horrible and he is over the hill. There wasnt a huge market for him last year... if he implodes publicly as a Buffalo Bill it would kill him this spring. He is smart enough to keep waiting until he has the next contract secured and then you will see throw our entire organization and many teamates under the bus.... some deserve it some dont. The problem with TO this year is that his presence limited the development of Hardy and Johnson and he took reps away from our best WR Lee Evans.

What team brings in street agents on Wednesday and starts them on Sunday. You have got to admit this says alot about the state of the offensive line.

It looked like Lindell took a few stutter steps right before kicking causing a few players to be offsides. It goes back to coaching.

Fitz threw the ball to Reed. If Edwards is a POS what does it say about Fitz or the coaching staff that they even put him in the game in the first place. No player of any caliber deserves this BS.

No DC respects the Bills coaching staff.... remember TO said, he only runs the plays that are called. Last I checked our QB doesnt call the plays.

What he does have is the worst O line in the leaugue, a rookie offenssive coordinator that got the job one week before the opener and an over the hill WR that is just waiting to throw him or anybody else under the bus in order to get some attention or more throws. It seems to me that Fitz has checked down often, taken a lot of sacks, ran for his life and gotten banged up in the process.. the common demoninator is the team. He probably needs to go because this team needs a fresh start... and he deserves better.

Bad sacks? He didnt have enough time for the first read to develop! What our front office did to the offensive line this year is ridiculous. Eight starting combinations.. street free agents are being signed on Wednesday and starting on Sunday. This just doesnt happen on other teams. We have had the worst O-line in the NFL with the most inconsistency, to say this hasn't drastically effected the play of our QB is crazy. We will see -- I wouldnt be surprised if the new coach and front office goes with Edwards next year. I think he is respected around the league and football people know he hasnt had a chance this past year.

With Edwards and Fitz banged up... I would expect Brandon or Wilson to call Perry Fewell and demand that Brohm plays the next two weeks.
