He was used exclusively as a decoy? What massive public outcry? Nobody within this organization owes this bum an apology. The Bills paid him well at a point were there were not many other suitors. How many HOF players play for 4/5 teams over a career torching players and coaches on the way out the door. I recognize that this organization has many problems, but TO is the last player that deserves to point them out. He owes his teamates an apology for giving up on them and not playing all out despite the challenging circumstances. Now if Schobel or Jackson have something to say... I will listen.

I watched most of the game, he obviously would benefit from more time. However, his attitude and demeanor reminded me of Ryan Leaf. Not sure if that is coachable.

Cowher put himself out there after Carolina publicly committed to staying with Fox. He obviously wants to coach next season. With a new GM in place we absolutely need to leverage our time advantage against other more attractive options that will be slow to develop. Like Buddy said " quickly & aggressively " ... its the only way to have a chance for Cowher. If Marty or Cohwer dont come to Buffalo, I would love to see Harbaugh... surrounded by a good GM and tenured coordinators. Bring in Gehart and get rid of Lynch for additonal draft picks! Its a matter of time before Harbaugh makes it big in the NFL... although this year might be a few too early.

News flash... there is a new GM and Coach coming in. The fact that Perry Fewell and the current staff moved to Fitz is irrelevant as to whether Edwards will start next year. I believe popular opinion outside of the organization is that his play this year was a product of the trainwreck around him. I think he still has potential but agree that a fresh start might be what this team needs.

I also think Edwards has a good chance of starting. I new GM & Coach will look at adding a few key pieces that will have an immediate impact and think they can develop Although, I agree with other posters that have stated that he hasnt been the same since the Arizona concussion and might be permanently damaged goods. Right or wrong most NFL execs think there were too many problems working against Edwards this past year to hold this debacle against him and give up on a once promising career.

Its about the draft to build the core and yes... the QB. But you have got to pull the trigger on a trade when needed. Polian was the master ( trading faulk -- Cornelius Bennet ) We gave up two 1st round picks and a second to get Biscuit, a bold move -- but worth it!

Cowher is definitely the first choice, plan B is Shottenheimer. I would be happy with either. Its strange that Kelly would be a part of the PC and mention Cowher.

I sometimes feel that I passed down a anchor of being attached to a bad team also, but then I think of all the great times we have had the past few years despite the losing seasons. At least at the early ages; its not all about winning. Some higlights of this past year.. * HOF ceremony - we lucked out and got front row seats. We sat in the Bills employee section next to Phil Hansen * Bills home game - Unfortunately it was the Browns game. But we had a blast played touch football and went to Pinto's My son took a picture of Ron covered in mustard/mayo/ketchup to school the next day * Carolina game - tailgated in the Buffalo lot. Again with Pinto and his crew, we impressed our Carolina friends! * Recruiting - He has two friends that are now Bills fans, the day after the Pats Monday Night game I picked them up at school and they were all wearing their jerseys with heads high * Jets game - the OT game... you would have thought we won the super bowl * vacation game - we were in FlA for Thanksgiving found a sports bar and blasted the Shout song on our ipod player after every score. The average age in the bar was about 80 but we had the folks rocking! Yea -- the bills have really sucked this year... but the memories arent that bad!

I have a nine year old son that has become an avid fan. The Bills have become "our" thing.. and has changed my own experience as a Bills fan. If you have kids that are Bills fans... you make a point of putting up the flag, cook the wings, wear your jersey and cheer like crazy this Sunday for OUR Bills to beat the Mighty Colts... and if they win you celebrate it as if it were the playoffs. Its the experience and time with family that they will remember and its the last time you get opportunity to do this for eight more months! Go Bills --- here is to ending this season with a win Sunday and a Happy New Year!!

What is Chuck Lesters title. Hasn't he been around since Levy? How has he survived? I don't have a feel for his talents/abilities but something tells me he the new regime need to make a point of getting rid of Lester the Leach and others like him!

Who is going to cut him? This will be Perry Fewells last day also. Nobody get cut, traded or resigned before a new coach or GM is established.

We need a QB and a O line... it doesnt need to be either/or. The clock should have started ticking 5 weeks ago. We have missed an opportunity to get a jump on the competition and give a respectable GM a few weeks to sit back and evalute the entire organization. Why did we fire Jauron and sit idle.. did the Bills brass really think Perry Fewell was a legitimate option. Get real! The only way this is forgiveable is if we have a deal in place and a huge annoucement is imminent. Which may be the case judging from of the comments coming from Thurman Thomas and others that might have insider insight.

He took a Carolina team with average talent to the Super Bowl...his teams have consistently been in the playoffs. You must live in Carolina and your redneck, NASCAR neighbors without a clue about the NFL have convinced you that Fox sucks.
