  1. Its too early to give up on Trent. Most outsiders view of Trent believe his poor play is a reflection of the worst OL in the NFL and horrible coaching. The new coach will keep him.
  2. He inherited a good team from Vermeil and hasnt done anything since. Blow hard personality and wouldnt bread the hard personality this team needs!!
  3. I thought Carl Peterson's speach at the HOF too long but very good. Marty was there and in tears.. I think Marty could develop Maybin into a Derrick Thomas type DE. We don't need Peterson b/c we need to give Marty complete control in order to get him here. Without control no top caliber coach would come to Buffalo.
  4. He kept the Bills in Buffalo when he could have left town and made MORE money. He is in the HOF fan because of his involvement in the merger, his W-L record and his commitment to a small market team. You cant look back and take the late 80's and 90's off his track record.
  5. I think Marty as GM and his son as HC is more of a likely scenario. I agree, Marty is the type of coach we need and is within our budget.
  6. My first dog's name was Berman, currently have a golden retriever named Roscoe.
  7. The 3rd ranked OT is just too risky at #11.... see Winston Jutice. We can't afford to miss and have got to fill a need with an instant starter.
  8. Center - Mack or Unger Guard - Hangarter, Butler Tackle - Bell, Walker, Chambers
  9. The last dog's name was Berman, a safe bet. I couldn't get the kids to warm up to Marv.
  10. This sucks, don't trade Roscoe. My kids just named our new dog after him. I knew we should have gone with TORONTO.
  11. Don't rule out the Bills trading the 11th. The buzz on Sanchez is heating up and they are in a great position sitting in front of Denver and Washington. With four picks on day one they could fill holes at DE, LB, OL and TE. There is depth at all positons.
  12. The Bills have proven that they will pay top dollar for a Pro Bowl caliber player IF the player is willing to play through negotiations and shows a commitment to the team. This was not about not wanting to pay Peters top dollar. He had three years remaining when he held out of all off season workouts last year, played sub par in 2008 and was on track to go the same route in 2009. Brandon had no choice but to make a move and getting three picks was a fair deal. Staying put and letting the train wreck develop would have been bad for this team. Of course, many fans complain no matter what the team does. These offseason moves have nothing to do with dressing the team up for Toronto. Get over it! They have NEVER spent like the Redskins or Cowboys, but then again neither have the Steelers or Patriots and this hasnt stopped them from winning Superbowls. Brandon is doing a fine job and I don't think he is done yet. He has Kelsey and Parrish on the block, he actively working to improve the team. I expect a draft that brings threee starters ( DE, LB, OT ) and a trade for a TE. We are a young team ready to explode in 2010. On the move to Toronto. The best thing that can happen to this franchise is a long term deal for 2 games in Toronto and a new ownerhsip that is committed to both cities. Buffalo can not support a team by itself. There is a mega market city only a short drive down the road, it just makes sense. I will be looking to go to a Tornonto game soon, just to scope out the new digs and start to get comfortable with the situation. Its reality folks!
  13. Brown will be the best DE of this years draft and there is a great chance that he will be available. Its not often that you get the a great player at your teams biggest need at #11. If he is gone, we should trade down and pile up picks.
  14. The Bills don't have the luxury of stacking one position, even if there is a future all-pro talent like Crabtree available. If he starts to fall there will be numerous teams trying to trade up and the Bills should be the team that takes advantage of this. Assuming the Bills resign Peters... Trade down to pick up an additonal 3rd round pick. Trade this pick to Denver for Scheffler. Take the best DE and LB available with their first two picks. The talent is there to get two instant starters. Three starters in all need postions would be a the infusion that the Bills need. Of course, if the Bills don't resign Peters all bets are off.
  15. The offense will not reach its potential until we solidify the line. We need one more piece to the puzzle.
  16. Sign Chris McAllister move him to FS and put Whitner at SS. If not, Scott looked like he got better as the season went on last year.
  17. There is no way Taylor comes to Buffalo to end his careet. Holliday sucks.
  18. I don't think there is anyway he would be there. However, if Orapko or Brown are there and we draft Crabtree.. I would be disappointed. We need a pass rush and stout defense more than we need two stud WRs.
  19. I will still go and spend. Unfortunately I passed down this disease to my eight year old son. His love for the Bills is currently unconditional. I seriously get more pissed off now seeing him get disappointed then I did before kids during the Super Bowl years, musical city miracle, etc... My deal with him is if the Bills move, he picks the next team and I am all in. FWIW he say's he is okay with the Toronto Bills.
  20. Go ahead, convince yourself the Bills dont need Coles so the disappointment later today doesnt sting as much! Whatever makes you feel better.... I will not be critical of another persons coping mechanism. We gotta stick together!
  21. We need an GM from outside the organization.... period. One that has credibility around the league, isn't going to be Ralph's whipping boy and will bring a winning attitude to this franchise. If you look our organization chart, its filled with "yes" men. Happy to have a job, at their peak of their careers. To frame this point, if the Bills fold shop tomorrow are any of our top brass being recruited for the same job much less a promotion within any other team. Jauron, Brandon, Modrack.... please!
  22. IF you think the Bills come and go with the development of Edwards, you got to give him more weapons. Coles would be just that, they have no shot at TJ and the rest of the available WR are average at best.
  23. He will be under fire when the seats are empty... Unfortunately the only leverage fans have.
  24. No thanks.... no way. We missed an opportunity with Wilman. He resigned with New Orleans for a reasonable price. I also think we should have been talking to Cleveland about Winslow if he was being shopped. I bet he rebounds nicely in TB.
  25. He is an immediate upgrade at as a starter in an impact position. Why dont we need him?
