what about a menu bar across the top of the articles that had something like: All - TBN - DC - AP - Syr what ever the top sites are. Then you could one-click filter if necessary? Default would be All.

I might add a few icons for the regulars. Especially since TBN charges money these days as well as the DC. Everyone seems to like Fairburn and John's stuff is an obvious choice as well.

This is specifically for hiring coordinators from returning coaches. For instance, Mike Pettine would have been off limits last year (assuming he had more than a 2 year contract). Jim Schwartz is different because there is a new head coach. Teams should be allowed to at least keep a coordinator for two years. That's not an oppressive position to take.

It is not unwritten. It is a rule.

Too much movement is bad for the game. Contracts should be keep these coaches in place, but allow them to leave with one year left in deal for a promotion. Sign them for min of three years and it gets rid of the one and done upheaval.

how the hell does a random DOS attack, where I'm just an innocent target coincide with the hiring of a new HC? I needed the solution hours before or the announcement this afternoon. FML.

My point is that the host changed my timezone to GMT to artificially add 5 hours to the server time, so that the time would appear to be EST.

This is what is messed up. I set it for New_York and it was 5 hours off. Very weird. I ask host to look into it. They say they fixed it. Now the time on the server is right but it says "GMT" which is wrong. Neither setting has affected the board time. I restarted apache and set the mysql timezone session variable and neither make a diff either.

Look, I admit I'm not a sysadmin. I struggle doing this because every "." counts when setting this **** up. However, I begged my host to just stop incoming traffic to the ip address that was coming in - all of it. They made it sound like they were doing it for me. Rinse and repeat for 2 days. I finally said that I don't want to be associated with that ip address anymore and they finally responded with "Well, it's a part of your config - you would have to change that on your server". No ****. It's what I have been asking them to do for two days. I finally did it myself and things are back to normal (which I couldn't do yesterday because I had zero access). Was this solution so hard to think of and implement? Even a dimwit like me figured it out.

Fixed the time issue on the server. I think I fixed it in MySQL, but it still is off. Not sure what I need to do to correct it.

An issue that I am having right now is that I had to separate fixes going on in parallel. The problem is that both of them work. And now they are conflicting. Some people will see the new server for a short time.

I am not ready for this.
