I’m guessing it was the mail room because you’re not very sharp. Literally did not question anything about your past and I don’t give a flying *****. I don’t care if you put the ***** flag in Iwo Jima. It doesn’t make you any less of an #######.

The words you are looking for are “thank you and all the other engineers who research, design, and build the equipment that actually keeps our military dominant and safe.” Learn an ounce of humility *****. BTW, I was doing these installations while in the Persian Gulf.
-
yeah, we landed there on Tuesday and flew home this morning. thank you! Did you ride in on the GEICO express? Maybe there was a different experience on other sides of the stadium.

Oakley dark Golf prizm sunglasses with a clear frame FTW!

what a little pissant you are. Would you like me to send you the picture of me standing on the USS thunderbolt or the USS Sirocco installing military equipment that I designed and built with my two hands? Or maybe you would like me to send you the picture of me receiving the Copernicus Award as one of the Navy‘s top engineers? ***** off you self important prick.

maybe you’re unaware that for years the military paid NFL teams to put on military shows that misled people into thinking these were organic patriotic celebrations. It was often dubbed paid patriotism. Now, although it’s no longer paid, like everything the NFL does, it’s just performative. Regardless, the game day experience for me from start to finish was terrible.

Dead center in the end zone, 300 level lower rows. It except for the anthem, I’m not lying when said I could not understand a single word that was said for the rest of the game. It wasn’t hyperbole. Sounds like your audio experience was better. Although it was a little warm sitting so close to other people, I’m not sure I broke a sweat. I did look at all of the blue jerseys sitting in the bright sunshiny area behind our bench and I thought to myself, “idiots.“ 😅 i’m sorry that’s what you took from my discussion of the fight song. It was done poorly. Embarrassingly poorly. even if you separate the terrible audio issues I was having in the end zone, it was still done poorly.

I don’t know what they were honoring, you couldn’t understand a ***** thing in that place. if that was just for this weekend, I withdraw the complaint. I assumed they did it every weekend. It was weird. I don’t remember it being tied into any ceremony.

Who are these people willingly attend this trash experience every year? That’s probably worst sporting event I’ve ever witnessed and has nothing to do with the Bills playing like ass. 1. While the park-and-ride was nice, when we got to the stadium it was awful. Makeshift scaffolding everywhere. Parking lot right next to the stadium 40% empty. No energy, nothing going on. 2. The only televisions in the concourse were little 32 inch screens above the heads of the concession stands. Not on the wall, the were literally just above their heads. 3. It is the worst sound system I have ever heard. Any music was atrocious. You couldn’t understand a single word from any referee at any point during the game. Ironically, the national anthem Singer was perfect. Yet every sound that emanated from the speakers after that point sounded like a high-pitched blender. 4. this is related to number three, but they played that old song: “we’re the Miami Dolphins, yada yada yada” it sounded like someone put a record on from 1933. It was always cut off in mid sentence and you could barely understand it. 5. The replay guy was incompetent. 50% of the time there was no replay. Then there were some of the biggest moments of the game like they stopped to point conversion and instead of replaying a goal line tackle they played phins in the community instead. Holy hell is that incompetent. 6. why are there four large screens in the corner that show exactly the same thing? What a complete waste of screen space. 7. The field was dark. There is actually so much of coverage of people in the stands that the field is poorly lit. It was even worse for me because I wore my prescription sunglasses and it was dreadful. 8. The military propaganda machine was in overdrive. 9. God bless America sung at halftime? Who does this? What an awful game day experience. Absolutely dreadful. The NFL should be ashamed. Stands to reason why that team doesn’t have any fans anymore.

it’s probably been 15 years since I’ve purchased anything from StubHub. It was the most expensive outlet for so long I don’t go there anymore.
-
as I mentioned a couple times, I bought three tickets. Three tickets together were never under $100 at any site at any time.
-
So far, only one set for $101 would have interested me. Still nothing cheaper at the moment.

Going to the game in Miami this Sunday - Suggestions?
SDS replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am guessing it is sold out. -
I paid $10.
-
I broke down and bought my three for $107 each. Even if they went below 100 I don’t think the savings is worth it.
-
They are not. In fact prices started to actually go back up on Thursday.

Going to the game in Miami this Sunday - Suggestions?

Thanks for the heads up. I just booked my parking spot in lot 95. -
Who is doing the holding here? The people selling the tickets or me waiting to buy?
-
I can’t believe how high the ticket prices still are the day before the game. Still seeing the majority of tickets for three seats in that $150 a seat range. 😡
-
For those of you familiar with ticket prices in Miami, I’m wondering if they’ve reached the bottom right now or if they’ll go even lower as we get closer to the game. I’m looking for three tickets in the upper deck, row 15 or below. Right now I’m seeing for $178 each. I don’t know if they go much lower than that for that type of seat.

Sorry. I did update the password after I renewed the group. It must’ve sent the invitation link with last year‘s password.

Fantasy Football - Draft Discussion Only
SDS replied to Johnny Hammersticks's topic in The Stadium Wall
Has anyone ever heard of a fantasy football manager receiving an F for a draft grade? I’m just curious if anyone has ever seen this in the wild. -

Bengals bungling things up - new rookie contract clause
SDS replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Someone has to be first. I’m not saying I follow this closely, but when teams have been affected by intolerable player behavior and players were cut, teams have sued to get a portion of their guaranteed money back. Without knowing more than what’s in this thread, maybe they’re just trying to codify this upfront. If that’s the case then I am all for it. I don’t know what the meaning of default is in this scenario. If I knew that, it would clear things up. -
Bengals bungling things up - new rookie contract clause
SDS replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the default thing is non-injury or team decision related, I don’t see the big deal. If he beats up his girlfriend and the Bengles cut him, that seems like fair game.
