  3. Without looking at any of the responses that would easily sway me. I'm not counting the last game so it's how many we'd win out of 16. 1.) We'd win 8 without Josh Allen 2.) We'd win 11 without James Cook (Lions and home Pats game) which goes against every anti pay Cook I made this off-season. 3.) We'd win 10 without both tackles. That would definitely hurt the worst besides Allen. 4.) We'd win 13 without Ed Oliver. Wouldn't be as big of a Buffalo blow out in some games though. 5.) We'd win 12 without Rousseau. Arizona game. 6.) We'd win 14 without Ferguson as much as I like him. The Rams punt block cost us that game.

  6. 1. I count 7 (although I can take an argument on the Colts game) 2. 11 - I don't think they beat Detroit without him or the first New England game. 3. If both missed the whole season? 10 - and if I didn't have confidence in Grable and Van Demark that would be lower. Bad tackle play sinks seasons. We see it around the league. 4. In 2024 - 13 - although I am not sure we beat Baltimore without him in the playoffs. 5. 13.
  7. Damn. I forgot about Midnight Run. Excellent choice. There's just so many good damn movies to consolidate it to 5.
  8. Poor attempt at a joke with four super serious critically acclaimed movies and then Dude Where's My Car. My real list does of course include BTTF and four other random movies that I thought were well done and just kind of stuck with me over the years. Honorable mentions would be Inglourious Basterds, Before Sunset, and Fargo. Gangs of New York if done correctly could've been right up there as it painted an interesting time in US History that not many films have touched. It was just too scattered and Daniel Day Louis was the only stand out actor with Dicaprio (who I usually like) and Diaz as miscast. 9. Yes, he had 16 TDs. That's one year. Over the last three years, he's managed 2, then 2, and then 16. What's next year most likely to look like? Seven? Eight, maybe? Nine? That's my guess. Maybe it'll be 16 again, but he still has a lot to prove before that seems very likely. Right now it looks like some kind of statistical anomaly. Not that that means Cook isn't good. He is. But for RBs, a high TD count has an awful lot to do with how many chances he gets and how good the OL is, of course. His long breakaways (and he has a few) are a different situation. His speed made a lot of difference on several of those plays, but overall you just see well-blocked, well-executed plays which did not require a sensational effort by the back. Doubt it? Here's a video of all his TDs last season. Do you look at this and say, "Wow, what a back!! Almost none of those get scored by another runner?" I don't. I see speed killing on three or so of those plays. And that beautiful five or six yard run up the gut where a guy hits him head on and his contact balance allows him to get right off it and score. Other than that, though, I see a lot of effective plays by a fine football team.
