Mularkey
At least he got a penalty this time around but I swear he is going for our QB's legs every chance he gets, and it's usually a late hit.

Lofton80
That looked pretty tame as far as bad hits go. Wilfork is cheap but that play was just football.

McD
it was a picture perfect tackle and a horrible penalty. Agreed...when I saw it I wondered wht the hell the official was thinking throwing a flag. It was a worse call than Whitners penalty, which was suspect as hell, but at least that has some merit behind it with the helmet lead-in.
kegtapr
it was a picture perfect tackle and a horrible penalty. I agree, it was a perfect form tackle and shouldn't have been called. However, after all the gifts NE has received over the years, I'm not complaining about calls going our way for once.
WVUFootball29
it was a picture perfect tackle and a horrible penalty. That flag was earned on reputation alone as it was not a late hit. However, earlier in the game, Wilfork jumped on Jackson as he was 2 steps out of bounds and nothing was called.

Mularkey
I thought it was late because the whistle had blown 5 seconds prior to that douche diving at Trent.
SDS
I thought it was late because the whistle had blown 5 seconds prior to that douche diving at Trent. The call was hitting Trent "low", not a late hit. The problem is that he hit him mid-thigh.
McD
Oh, go a lick a stanley cup, will you? Lol...c'mon, if that were Schobel we'd all have had a fit over that flag. And, trust me I HATE WILFORK!
John Adams
I thought it was late because the whistle had blown 5 seconds prior to that douche diving at Trent. He'd just thrown the ball. There was no whistle yet. They called him for going at Trent's knees and it was a bad (but fortunate) call.
DarthICE
it was a picture perfect tackle and a horrible penalty. Exactly. When you have a former QB in the booth calling BS, that pretty much sums it up right there.

That was not a cheap shot. A terrible call by the refs.

Jaws and Gruden sound too much alike. I thought it was Gruden making those comments. Still, they were right.
SDS
Jaws and Gruden sound too much alike. I thought it was Gruden making those comments. Still, they were right. Hey! I was going to start a thread about that last night. Whenever Gruden would try to be forceful with his voice - he sounded exactly like Jaws does. However, earlier in the game, Wilfork jumped on Jackson as he was 2 steps out of bounds and nothing was called. Just an impression - in pre-season and 1st week games I've watched, it seems that they have lightened up on calling out-of-bounds hit penalties. Dunno... BuffaloRebound
Wilfork is still a piece of garbage. He stuck his finger in Bell's face in the 1st half. I hope the Bills send the tape to the League so that POS gets fined again. That said, I'd love to have that piece of garbage on the Bills.
