ThePebble19 Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 While I didn't like the call (why kick that FG in a preseason game?), kicking a tying FG in the second quarter is hardly "playing for a tie". Â Sure, they weren't playing for the tie, but it wasnt like they needed 3 yards to get in FG range. Dial up a play designed to get in the end zone, and if it's not there, throw it away.
