Nothing. At this point you pretty much have to ride things out. Too late for new coaches and you don't want to reach for a free agent just to do something, same with trades. I guess that is why new GM's are never hired at this point in the cycle.

Agreed......at this point you pretty much have your team that you are going into the season with.......with the exception of possibly Derrick Brooks at OLB for veteran insurance.......

You keep a close eye on the situation at LT.......I did the bills did absolutely the right thing in trading Peters as I fully believe he would have held out, then took forever rounding into "playing shape"

BUT

Langston Walker was a fine RT who is being forced into duty at LT.......our new/old scout picked up from the Chargers should be put in charge of looking over the other NFL teams for a young promising LT type and you pull the trigger on a trade for either draft picks or a veteran player.....

If Langston shows the inability to control the speed edge rushers even with a back or TE to help on a consistant basis then we MUST make a move.......If Edwards goes down I think our offensive goose is pretty well cooked for this year.

Other then that.......we have our team. Now NEXT offseason is when I would start making real changes.

They are starting to figure things out. Going with intelligence on the line was a year late, but can fix the entire offense by next year. They just need to stay away from the gimmick picks.

Also, I would raid the liquor warehouse in the club section at 3am on a Friday night. 80 cases of premium hard stuff makes for a nice signing bonus.

I would immediately trade all of my future draft picks and best players to get every great player in the NFL for my team. I'd then sneak into the NFL head offices and secretly change the cap allowed so I could pay all of these players under the cap. I'd then sit back and collect my SB rings.

LOL ... Great post. I suggest you add, then sell the team to Bill Gates on the condition that he leave it in Buffalo.

What is the first move you make to improve the Bills ??

Sign or trade draft picks for OLB.

Ride Jauron for the season and then go after Cowher... maybe even Shanahan or Holmgren.

OT still needs upgrade as well.

Another DT would be great.

I'd be quite busy.

Oh ya, one more thing, fire Russ or put him back in Marketing.

With this late into the off season, I would look strongly at the left tackle spot to see who has gotten released to pick up an extra and possibly very good left tackle.

I would sign T.O. to a 3 year extention at 3years & 15 million & a signing bonus of 5 million. I would then Look at our scouting dept and find out what has happened the last 8 years. I would hire Dick Lambeu, as a Defensive consultant away from the Steelers. I would also hire a new conditioning specialist, the trainer who developed P90X. I would attempt to increase the amount of draft picks to build the Off/def lines for the future. The Offensive system of the K-gun would be installed with the hiring of Mike Martz as the O.C. and keep him in check. I would hire Greg Gabriel from the Bears as an assistant of Football Operations. Russ would go back to the Marketing dept. I would Keep D.J. for some stability for now. i would have also hire Ken Hull to coach the offensive line , strictly.
