Is Ralph PREPARING to sell the Bills?

Recommended Posts

Went to Steak & Shake for lunch today. First time I've tried them. They sell burgers, why not call themselves Burger & Shake? I hate misleading titles.

Tell me about it! Quaker Steak & Lube, what's up with that?

So they have no steaks at all? That's deceptive, and should not be allowed.

There's a chain here called 'Just Pizza' featuring, in their words, 'Buffalo's best subs and wings'. WTF???

I'm hoping for...

Mike Leach

Funny guy. Offensive genius. Better 'pressers' than Jauron....

In 2007 the Big 12 fined Leach $10,000, the largest fine in Big 12 history. Leach also received a reprimand and was warned that further violations could result in suspension. In a Big 12 coaches' conference call that day, Leach added that he does not regret making any of the comments. Leach announced that he would appeal the fine. Tech alumni and fans began raising money to aid Leach in paying the penalty in the event that it was upheld. Optionally, the proceeds raised could be used charitably. So, just before Christmas 2007, Leach requested that the nearly $5,000 raised to that point be spent on 400 hams to be given free to families in Lubbock.

Following the 2008 Gator Bowl, in which Virgina scored twice on penalties against Tech for intentional grounding in the end zone, Leach joked, "I felt like we had a back there on the one safety, but I don't comment on officiating. I just give out hams is what I do."

GO BILLSSS!!!!

I know nothing about the guy but will accept that in your judgement he is better than Jauron.

I know... that always bugged me too. I went to Wing Stop and actually got wings today!

Did you stop for your wings at wing stop? or just kinda roll through?

Discussing this subject would prove to be more interesting than the worn out topic of this thread.

How could he be any worse?

'Regarded as one of the most innovative offensive minds in college football, Leach has had a winning season every year since his tenure began at Tech.'

I'm sorry, but Wing Stop officially sucks. Sorry Bullpen, but that's the trut. I stopped giving them my money when the size of their wings fell below sparrow sized.

Now, you wanta talk fries, Wing Stop has killer fries but their name isn't French Fry Stop.

No, I actually fully stopped. Alluding to what the Sphere said, I wish I hadn't, but I was riding with someone else and didn't have much say.

I agree Wing Stop does suck, but in Colorado, there aren't a lot of authentic options short of making them at home, which I resort to most Friday nights.

Wing Stop does have pretty awesome fries. Anytime you can get "golf course fries" you can't go wrong. :wallbash:

Beerball - you've been relatively quiet on the board lately. Have you been outside your nearest wing stop protesting?

Im not disagreeing with you. I think Ralph is a VERY smart business man. Infact, if i were in the front office I would choose to make similar decisions.

Id like to see someone put a group together to offer Bills "shares" to purchase the team. Id buy some...

This would be awesome... but its not allowed by the NFL. The Packers have this kind of ownership, but only because they were grandfathered in.

"...league rules, which stipulate a limit of 32 owners of one team and one of those owners having a minimum 30% stake."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Bay_Pac...#Public_company

Not from the most trustworthy source, but I've read this before in other places.

Maybe we should start some kind of campaign / petition to allow Western New York to buy it's own team?

But, Breen Gay is owned by the citizenry, precedence has been set, and we've got the commish in our hip pocket. This could work!

The Bills are being prepared to be sold... Isn't it OBVIOUS?

They kept a lame duck coach and staff for a savings of $10M a year

They havent signed ANY substantial FA's

They have approx. $25M in available space

They PROFITED only $12M last year.

They signed that deal with Toronto for a "Trial Run" to build interest

Take a look at this link... Of note, take a look at the operating expenses chart...

If the BIlls left that hell hole called Buffalo New York with a new owner do you think that would be a bad thing?I cant ..wait for them to be sold and move to a better city, maybe then they could get some players who want to play for this franchise and start winning some games. I could care a less if the Bills were sold and moved, anything leaveing Buffalo is good becuase the city is nothing more than a big joke.
