Edwards

It would have been a different game. Can't really say about the outcome.

It would have likely helped because Losman looked clueless in the 2nd half, turning into Kurt Warner from last week...

Would they have won? Not the way the D was playing, but the whole team seemed pretty deflated by Edwards being out...

The only way we could have known is if Edwards played longer and we got to see the Bills D when he was in the game...

Yes, we would have. Ball control, slowing down the game, creating more opportunities. The Defense would have had a chance to breathe. JP took options off the table.

I disagree. The D had all but lost the game by the time the turnovers and boneheaded plays started piling up. Any excuse regarding TE's absence is moot. The team needed the D to play big when the QB went down, and they failed.

Maybe. Ball control would have been better. Defense would not have been on the field as much. Fewer turnovers and sacks. The team plays hard for Edwards. Not for JP.

Exactly, we would have had a chance. A chance in the NFL is all you need. We had no chance with JP.

Trent is more of a ball control QB, long methodical drives, not quick hit TDs. Our D would have had longer breaks and would have been on the field a lot less. Tough to predict the outcome though.

Yeah that was the problem. The long TD pass from JP to Evans while the game was still in reach did not take enough time off the clock.

The defense was on the field for 36 minutes. How many TDs were given up as opposed to being coughed up? The line can't hold the defense off for 8 seconds, which is about what JP needs. Maybe we needed to mix it up more, but man, JP couldn't even maintain. Abysmal.

The game would have been closer with Trent in there, but I think we still would have lost. Remember, in our comeback wins, it was not only Trent leading the offense to direly needed scores, that had to be combined with at least SOME stops by our D. And that was just not in the Cards today.
