Girlfriend got warm, took off her Bills sweatshirt, and took a nap while the game was 21-0.  She woke up at 24-14 and tried to put the sweatshirt back on.  I did not allow that and the Bills won.

She completely understood and didn't fight me on it.

You're welcome.

I mentioned this in the Post Game thread. I had a set of Bills ear rings. I haven't worn one all year, because when I do, the Bills play like absolute garbage. So of course, I put one in at the start of the game. When it was 21-0 Pats, I took the ear ring out, and threw the set in the garbage. Results was an epic comeback win.

You didn't finish the rest of the story. I'll help get you started...

Were you there?  I had your cuckhold chair all setup but didn't see you.

I turned it off at 21-0 but had the score updating on my phone. When they came back to take the lead 28-24 I tuned back in just in time to see TreVeyon Henderson's long TD run. Blaming myself for my selfish "I'm more important than a Bills win" attitude, I immediately turned it off again. Good thing I did. I've been a bad luck loser all my life (watched every Bills Super Bowl loss) but sometimes I foolishly think "How could I possibly affect the outcome of a sporting event hundreds of miles away just by watching it on TV?". If only I could control this awesome yet terrible power.

There was a movie "The Cooler" about a man who was employed by a cassino because he had the ability to give his bad luck to the gamblers. Maybe I could do that in real life.

Posted last week as well when I realized that when my son and I have either attended or watched a game together, we are undefeated this year. So crazy as it seems, I flew to NYC for the weekend from Chattanooga to watch with him and lock in the dub. He is flying home for Xmas next Sunday, but after the game, so this concerns me.

when Henderson ran for the long td to put the Pats up 21-0 I said; time for a nap. Went up, and closed my eyes, half hour later it was 24-21 and I said, wow that was a great nap.
