sherpa Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Fill in the dead time: Anchors aweigh, my boys Anchors aweigh Farewell to foreign shores We sail at break of day-ay-ay-ay Through our last night ashore Drink to the foam Until we meet once more Here's wishing you a happy voyage home 1 Quote
Donuts and Doritos Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago They just played our "shout" song (minus the Bill's part) at the game. Quote

But then Herbert answered the questions because he even knows he can't brush it off I do realize that. But it’s stupid and unnecessary. Just because it is in their contract doesn’t mean it should. It’s useless filler Quote

Are you using Directv? Yep. The first time it happened to me, years ago, I was thrilled. Crowd noise but no announcers! And the I dumped Directv and it never happened again. Maybe Directv should market it as a "no announcer" feature. 1 Quote

But it shouldn’t be about appeasing the reporters or even the networks. Why do the networks pay so much money? Because so many eyeballs are on the product from the fan base. Thus, they should be appeasing the fan base and consumer. I don’t know how many people of said fan base give two craps about any of these useless sideline interviews. Honestly, if they’re going to keep the cameras on after the game, I’d be more interested in watching the players interact with each other after the game. The cameras could stay on the guys doing that, and that’s much more appeasing than some milqtoast useless filler interview. Any of us who watch football for any amount of time could legitimately mimic both the question and response between the sideline reporter and any player before it even happens. There’s rarely, if ever, any true insight or interesting banter during these interactions. So if they want appease the Fanbase, they should find something interesting that we would want to watch. 1 Quote
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago To infuriate myself even more I put Chris Collinnsworth's voice over the Army/Navy game , so every catch was.... "It's ok Mahomes threw that INT, it was like a punt anyways" and "Nobody does it better than Patrick Mahomes". I don't know why I do this to myself, I'm a sick son of a beotch. 1 Quote
thenorthremembers Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 5 of my 6 kids are still school age. I didn't realize there was sound during any sports game. I thought only Bluey, and Disney Plus came with sound. Quote
