I'm liking Pivotal Weather. The actual forecast doesn't go out more than 48 hours, which in meteorology circles is the time frame to predict with some certainly a moderately accurate forecast. So I looked at some extended models.

From what I can see, temps will be about 30 degrees with a chance of flurries. Winds could be a factor, blowing from the Northeast. There will be low pressure right off the Massachusetts coast, which could extend the windy conditions inland to Foxborough.

Curious where you are seeing the wind?

I usually go to windy.com, which seems pretty accurate in terms of wind conditions. I am not seeing much wind? It is saying only 8 MPH, and gusts of 17 MPH.

I was looking at the GFS (National Weather Service) model (The NWS has 21 models to choose from), 200 mb Height, (dam), Kit (kt). A couple of other models like the Canadian RDPS Model has moderate winds blowing from the East. The trick with extended range forecasting is taking a number of models, and finding common trends between them all. The models are generated by banks of supercomputers, but to accurately decipher all the models, it takes a human brain.

So, you’re saying there’s a chance?

Not fully. In my introductory Meteorology class, it was so intriguing, that I thought about switching my major to Meteorology. When my instructor told me it would be about 4 years of calculus and other various math classes, I was like no dawg.

I took a Meteorology class at JCC taught by Aaron Menkowski from channel 7 in Buffalo. Great class. Great teacher and he loved Buffalo sports. Mostly students who were trying to become pilots.

My major currently is Turfgrass Sciences. I am changing it to Organizational Leadership as that falls in line the most with what I do for my job. After I get my Bachelors, I'll continue with Penn State for a Meteorology Certificate.

Can you lower the Bills Cap situation so we can sign a WR1? I think you can.

I’m doing some redesign work on the new stadium; I noticed some mistakes were made. After that, I’ll work on the cap.
