Im not a Beane supporter, he has made alot of mistakes and I think hes good not great. But taking a chance on Slay and cutting Ingram, is WAY down the list. We have no clue if Slay had a change of heart or any of the background ---- instead everyone freaking out and acting like Beane was majorly in the wrong here. These are not the type of decisions that make a difference in the grand scheme--- in fact, very good chance Ingram may have not made this roster out of camp, if Max was healthy. I agree with most of this and until we know what conversations Beane had (or didn’t have) it’s we can’t lay definitive fault. the last paragraph is disagree with though. Maybe I’m just a pessimist regarding injuries (I definitely am) but there’s a chance that Ingram would’ve played some meaningful snaps on D, along with STs. dane or couch seem to be next man up. Not sure if either can play dime safety. Quote

But if he wants to make money and still play, he'll report. 35 years old with $120M in career earnings, a gorgeous wife and handful of kids at home. He might as well hang out for the holidays. Good for him. 2 Quote

I hope this doesn’t come into play come playoffs. Obviously if DS was like "Yes! See you Monday!' then changed his mind after they released JI, that's a different story. 2 Quote

If the bills had the ability to speak to his agent, I can’t see Beane dropping the ball and not doing this. 1 Quote

I'm not drawing a line. It's a very small miss but looks kinda bad Overall he's a pretty good gm. Maybe slay changes his mind but I doubt it. Quote
