You sure about that? THIS season ? Nobody gives a damn about last year.. holds no bearing in the current..so right now you taking Allen over Maye in 2025? 100% sure. Get back to me when Drake holds as many NFL records as Allen. Even if Drake gets to the SB before Allen ... Allen is still the better QB

there are more Duke QB's in the HOF than UNC...but i forgive you for not knowing football before 2004.

 

Sonny Jurgensen is among the very best to ever play the position. beyond that - Thad Lewis was decent, Daniel Jones played for a team that embarassed the Patriots several times and way back Jerry Barger....

 

and since we are actually talking about all of NC... lets look at NC State QB's vs your beloved UNC program... 

Trubisky, Maye, TJ Yates, Sam Howell... all those SB rings.... 0?

Russel Wilson has more than all of them combined. Rivers will go to the HOF. Brissett is a guy you may know...those are just recent guys.

 

UNC has not been a good program for football historically. you're f'n insufferable.

Wouldn't it be something if they got bounced by Houston in the first round, and then went 8-9 with a 1st place schedule in 2026 and a regression to the mean in 1-score games and injury luck?

Josh is the better QB.  No doubt.  I do think Maye has been better if your sample siz is the 2025 season.  It helps that he has better WRs and McDaniels/Vrabel.  I do think Maye is generally a more accurate passer in general.  His ball placement is incredible.  Josh had that type of placement yesterday, but I don’t think he’s as consistent with it.

 

this is my bullet proof vest:  Josh is the better QB.  No doubt

Drake Maye has played that elite schedule and top tier defenses like the Giants, Raiders, Steelers, Saints, injured Bucs, and hobbled Falcons... lol

 

The Bills played Spagnola's tricky defense in KC, the Falcons playing in their superbowl with a hobbled offense, the Texans elite D, and more...

 

the PAtriots are playing quite well but Maye is not even clsoe to the league that Allen is when it comes to overall quality.

 

Ask any fanbase who they would rather have: Allen or Maye - i think only the PAtriots would be stupid enough to take Maye.

Look Bozo, I never claimed that UNC is some of sort of QB factory or elite program. I was responding to the dumb comment that Maye could not possibly be any good because he is a product of such an insignificant school and football program. Time to move the goal posts again.

I would be very surprised by that tbh

 

They aren't going to expose him...my guess is he has a very tidy line and their game plan is only going to require him to make a few big time plays

This is the biggest game for the Pats and their "fans"  in a long time with two weeks to get ready. You know Kraft would love nothing more than to win the division at home against the Bills and rub our noses in it. It will be a tough environment for the Bills, but one that Josh and the rest of the team usually thrive in.

Maybe the Patriots plan is to run it. Have him get the ball out quick. They are missing OL. 

 

I think the Patriots are also due for a loss. They last loss in...September? Eventually luck runs out.
