Intentional, i.e. from week 1, tanks are never a good idea in the NFL. Most tanks in the NFL happen after week 7 or 8 when a team is legit terrible and 1-6 or something. And the Bills were just not in that spot very often.

Players and coaches don't throw games.  The best they could do is put a tomato can in a QB like the Pats did last year in week 18

Why would players intentionally lose? It could cost them a big contract on their current/new team. Not to mention the fact that a new draft pick could take their spot.

If NE had a draft position already secured, the Bills probably start Allen.
