The next best thing works, and that's when we go tempo after the first first down.

 

Something to note: we still score on our first drive at an insane clip, and our d has been much better in second halves than first halves.

 

There is a recipe in there that our coaches have touched on leading us to potential glory, frankly it's on MCD to solve the d early and pressure Brady to stick to the effective game script

That's on the coaches  Brady seems to have long stagnant points in the game calling plays  The defense is almost incredible how they start out terrible in games.  What are Sean and Brady doing all week?  Their preparation for the opponent typically is non existent  Brady knew Houston's had a monster pass rush yet no real designed plays to try and make them slow down for a second Is running old school half back screen rocket science?

It also doesn't mean that it won't work.  What we do know is that what they're doing now isn't working either.

It's grasping at straws, just like when they tried going back to the no huddle offense.

Don't know about full on no huddle, but I do believe they could've helped themselves against Houston's pressure by going no huddle.  How many times did we see Houston rotating D-Linemen to keep them fresh?  Hunter and Anderson were taken out on the early downs and brought back in for obvious passing situations.  We all know how that turned out.
