Even last night - I got about a minute of feeling like I had in previous seasons, when Cook broke that run.

Then we missed the XP, and it was like 'that's gonna come back to haunt us.'  Every game is like a trip to the dentist now.

I told my wife the same thing when we missed the extra point and she told me not to be so negative.  We converted the 4th and 27 and I yelled "Holy Sh**! " and woke her up. When Dawkins committed his bonehead penalty I said it sure would be nice to have one more point so we could kick a fg and tie it up.

People invest a lot of emotion in the Bills and sports generally. I do.  If you care, it hurts when they lose.  But if it starts to hurt too much, take a step back, it is supposed to be entertainment not a life-or-death struggle.  It is particularly important to remind yourself of that when you have zero control over the situation.  All the "fire him" stuff may be cathartic, but you have simply no control over who the owner, GM, coaches or players are.  You are stuck with them.  And all the ranting and raving will change nothing.  It is actually kind of funny to read it in a sad sort of way.  All the bitterness and anger.  It's like being in a bad relationship.

Play in fantasy leagues if you want some control.  I own a couple of racehorses and at least I get to choose the breeding for the horse, the trainer, the jockey, I have some control and can take the glory or the blame-- it's on me.  But with the Bills, you are merely a passenger and can do nothing but take the ride.  If it's too bumpy, just take a break until you can participate without undue emotional distress.

Watching the Bills is very stressful because they have issues and it is  impossible to predict how they will play from week to week. Josh and Cook are incredible and the O -line is good and bad depending on the competition. Most games are really closely contested so it becomes edge of your seat nail biters.  Not to many blowouts so you need to control your blood pressure.
