MasterStrategist Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Just now, BillsShredder83 said: Even taking out this game which is clearly AWFUL.... this whole "top offense" take has been garbage, and why many of us have been so vocal. We are 1 dimensional. Teams were always going to sell out knowing that our receivers can't get open. To sit here and listen to people saying this offense would be fine EVEN IN THE PLAYOFFS has been so obvious to us. Especially when we are so dependant on two guys: Cook & Kincaid, and them staying healthy. Today is the exact destiny we were in for in the playoffs... but unfortunately it's too late to fix. Ive been very pro-Beane, I think his drafts have been much better than implied around here, especially by comparison to other top GMs drafting in similar spots. But the decision to sit on our hands Wednesday was an unforgivable mistake. It could've been somewhat defendable if the rumors of the compensation weren't leaked, but the stubbornness around the most petty of the year the 1st is in?! Ridiculous 100%. We have an MVP QB, generational talent. Yet, we decide our offensive philosophy should be built around making Josh a game manager. Wr/TE room: Palmer, Keon, Shakir, Kincaid, Samuel, Moore, Knox, Shavers, Hawes Yeah thats bottom level talent as a "group". Some nice complimentary pieces, but no where near good enough. Somehow defenses took this long to adjust to Bradys offense philosophy. Which is also blame on Beane for lack of overall talent. Quote
KingBoots8 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Don’t worry, we can add some speed on the outside with a trade. OH WAIT. Quote
jlatas Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) I know the talk is that the WR room is a majority of the problem but looking at Elijah Moore's career stats I see that in the past 4 yrs before Buffalo he has had 61, 59, 37 and 43 receptions with sh*t quarterbacks. I believe he has like 7 this year...you cant tell me that is all on the receiver! Similar thing for Samuel with other teams before Buffalo...62,64, 6 (only 5 games played), 77, 54...I dont think he even has half a dozen this year. What is really going on here??? BuffaloBillyG Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I agree with the title. The Bills don't need A WR.... They need to remake the entire room. 1 Quote
