DC Grid Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) He’s a good safety still Fins are in fire sale mode. Does a 4th rounder make him a Bill? Edited 4 hours ago by DC Grid Quote
Bangarang Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If they throw Waddle into the deal then I'm okay with it. 1 Quote

BuffaloRebound Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago highly doubt dolphins are trading any of their top players to Bills. Dodson and Douglas more realistic. Quote
Johnny Hammersticks Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Not sure if his contract would be cost prohibitive or not. Looks like Miami restructured his deal this year. Any “capologists” care to weigh in? Quote

If the Bills wanted to, they could make it work: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/25106/minkah-fitzpatrick Quote
Neo Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The fan base has had pitchforks and torches out for three years and the Bills are their current most hated foe. They’re aware of the whole “Allen’s your daddy, meme.”. Nothing, and I mean nothing, of value is coming to Buffalo. Generally, I am not a “never trade in the division, or conference” guy. Miami can’t afford to unless it completely disregards the fan base. Of course, the fan base isn’t exactly priority one when deciding a trade’s value. I just don’t see a brand new, or interim, GM sending talent to Buffalo during his first week. 1 Quote

Looks like Miami restructured his deal to save cap space this year, but Minkah is on the books for ~15.5 million in the final year of his 4 year deal next season. Would Buffalo be on the hook for paying him that? Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago (edited) I love all the In Division trade ideas. Why would Miami trade him to us? In Division trades pretty much only occur for small time players, if they have limited options, and/or the rival they're trading with has the highest perceived pick. None of these things apply to us and big time players on the Dolphins or Jets like Garrett Wilson, Jaylen Waddle, or in this case Minkah Fitzpatrick. They'd have no shortage of options if they were available, that would both be outside the division they play in and perceived to have a better pick that they'd acquire. If we were to trade for a big time Safety, it wouldn't be Minkah Fitzpatrick. It would be Budda Baker. Edited 34 minutes ago by BillsFanForever19 Quote
