Really hoping to be back in 1st place by Sunday night.

The Pats hype this week has been unreal.  "Rebuild complete!  Maye is top 3!  They're baaaack!!!"

Cripes. They beat us in a refball game, and beat the Saints & Titans.

Lost in all the chaos of the last few losses is how ridiculously frustrating the defensive tackle depth has been this season. Despite having what appeared to be a surplus of servicable players, so much so that we were struggling to contemplate how to roster them all, yet we now find ourselves (once agan) relying of practice squad level talents.

Another Phidaruan Mathis game? Big Phil? Just insane. Between the O gun suspension, mystery ed injury, Carter and Sanders IR, and recent DaQaun Jones injury, I think week 1 was the last time we have a full complement of rosterable players at the position. This is almost unbelievable considering the recent investments into the position.

Just sign Zion to the roster already. He is by far the best option, but out of elevations.

This is what I mean when I talk about McDermott's "Week to Week" designation being a long term injury.

He listed Milano, Bernard, and Kincaid as "Day to Day" injuries after the Falcons game. Weeks later and none of them have gotten a Full Practice and they're all Questionable for Sunday.

Day to Day could be multiple weeks and Week to Week could be as many 4 (as we saw with Oliver) or more.

Hmm I guess I am mistaken.

Decent #2, but I think Buffalo is much better overall in the TE department. Kelce is washed and Gray has never really taken that next step people thought he would to replace him.

Hawes gives the Bills so much more versatility because he can block as well as a linemen. I feel like Knox has lost a step, but could still be deadly if Brady knew how to use him. If Kincaid could just stay healthy he has big time potential. No one has elevated themselves as Allen’s go to receiver.

I also don’t understand why the offense itself is not centered more around the TEs, one of the bigger strengths of the team. Joe Brady needs to go watch some old Gronk/Hernandez footage to see how to use multiple TEs and a WR room full of slow slot receivers.
