Um, no they weren’t. It was right after that TD. They went nuts. It just got cut off during the kickoff.

They were celebrating the TD not that stupid song. You would have to be a beta male to relate to that song. It’s a weird song to play at a football game. Doesn’t make much sense to me.

Um yes they were, I was in the crowd and hardly anyone bothered singing or even standing up once the TD celebration had died down and the song was still playing then

Lol, I’m sorry if that song gives you all sorts of feelings. I don’t like the song (or hate it). I have no feelings for the song itself. I like that the crowd loves it. I like that the players like it. A bunch of you are injecting your feelings into this discussion. There isn’t a debate as to whether or not they went crazy. Of course they were celebrating the TD. The song amplified it as the crowd LOUDLY sang it. That’s what DID happen.

it's a song about cheating and cuckolding

LOL it’s not about cuckolding…the song is about the lead singer’s real life experience catching his girlfriend cheating and then trying to “look on the bright side” through that trauma.

Here’s (not the best) video of no one singing it or standing):

Wow, the handful of people around you were really going for it, whilst everyone else was waiting for the kickoff 🙄

Lol, that’s not me. 🤣 This place is better when people tell the truth. You made a misleading claim so there’s Exhibit A for the people that weren’t there. Saying you don’t like the song is fine. Saying that the crowd doesn’t react to the song isn’t fine. Tell the truth and you won’t get fact checked…

I was at the game, actually just along from that section on the video, and I’m telling how I saw it, if you think that’s loud and the whole stadium getting wild then I don’t know what to tell you but I have some magic beans you may be interested in.

Maybe if you’d been there and not relying on someone else’s (bad) video you would know, better luck next time

Again, that’s some random video. I sit in that equivalent section but across the field and on the scoreboard side. The whole place was standing and singing. You can continue to argue with the facts. That’s a thing now in the US. Sorry if that song makes you feel some sort of way. It’s not going anywhere because the players and crowd love it.  That was the point and that’s not really up for debate.

Haha I’m the wrong nationality to try the alternative facts in the US thing on sorry.

I get it, you like the song. I don’t dislike it and I couldn’t care less of it sticks around or not, you’re confusing me with the other poster who hates it. I just didn’t find it particularly energising and nor did most of the crowd in my opinion, yes you can hear some singing on that video but it’s hardly deafening, some people sing it but I’ll stick my view that the majority didn’t and certainly not on the side I was sitting, I heard more groans than anything

It gives me no feelings at all. I just can’t relate to it. Maybe you relate to it better than I can.

I gathered you were English by your name. I was suggesting that it’s okay to say things that aren’t factually based here. It’s a thing now.

I don’t care for the song (or dislike it). I have no feelings. I’m simply saying that for the last 15 games or whatever it has been, the crowd has gotten more and more into it. Now, by British standards it may not have seemed crazy. That seems to be the disconnect. By NFL standards, that’s crazy.

I went to Crystal Palace - Forest when in London for the Bills game in 2023. It was an incredible experience and a bucket list item. I’d love to experience Liverpool in Anfield. Now if we are comparing Mr. Brightside to You’ll Never Walk Alone in Anfield, no comparison. That, in my opinion, is the greatest tradition in sports.

I was in the opposite corner from that video, 135, and I can say for sure that at least in that part of the stadium was standing and hyped for it.

I don't know about the upper deck or the clubs but from my vantage point it seemed like the entire lower bowl was engaged in the song.

The brightside thing (as far as the bills go) actually started at the perfect game and was organic.  The Knox wedding thing made it more of a scheduled event

Fair enough, maybe comparing it to English football is the wrong thing for me to do as it does get rowdy (too much sometimes) and I did like the family feel of highmark compared to say taking my kids to Old Trafford (which I wouldn’t do).

I hope you enjoy anfield if you ever make it there, although as a Manchester United fan I’ll have to take your word for it as I won’t go near the place 🤣

Ha ha, I’d imagine that it is BRUTAL to support the visiting team in any of those places.

I adopted Crystal Palace after going to Selhurst Park. It was such a unique, and pure, experience. Everything here is so commercialized and corporate. Obviously, that wasn’t a major match but it just felt more like college sports here. As soon as I saw the Bills were going to London, I started looking for whatever match I could attend there that weekend. I did run into a handful of other Bills fans at the match. Ironically, I ran into a guy who was on my flight from Toronto to London 3 days earlier in line for beer.

Palace is a good place to go to be fair, Selhurst park has long been one of the more traditional louder stadiums and not many glory hunters there (because until recently they never had any glory). I’m sure I don’t have to tell you about what happened in January 1995 there with a certain Frenchman who played for my team 😆

I like that you can mingle in the states though, I saw saints fans walking around and no-one said anything and there was no animosity, that’s sadly the worst thing about European football in that away fans have to be escorted by the police to and from the stadium etc… although I guess it does translate to louder atmospheres in the stadium

Next on my bucket list is to see a bills away game, I’ve never been to the west coast so maybe to Arizona, LA, SF in the future I hope

This doesn't really pertain to the uniforms I just didn't know where else to put it. I was scrolling facebook and for any avid wrestling fans out there I just found out wildman Marc Mero from WWE is part of Bills Mafia and I guess from the area. I just hope Brock Lesnar isn't as well, could get ugly near the tables 😀
