Schumer’s Shutdown Did Not Go Well for Him.

“The Chuckster doesn’t play hardball as well as some of his predecessors in Senate leadership.

Over on the House side of things, Hakeem Jefferies isn’t any sharper.

The Democrats rushed into this shutdown driving a clown car with no brakes.”

Once again, I'm proud that Tim Kaine is my senator.  Pragmatic as always, he put the ;people over politics.  He realized that losing the battle is better than losing the war which continues in the midterms.

Good lord. You are so embarrassing. Both Kaine and you are assh*les. If Tim and a small handful of his buddies had put people first 7 weeks ago, millions of everyday people would not have been shat upon by their government.

"Sorry about all the pain we caused, I wasn't paying attention" is a hell of a position to take.

Shutdowns are dumb. Glad this one is over. I have a couple flights scheduled this month and early next month and I don't need any disruptions.

Both sides can pretend they "won" something. In reality, the Air Traffic Controllers are the most powerful force in America.

He was able to extract a Moratorium on Mischief, which was Harris-esque in scope and importance.   I heard somewhere he was looking for Abeyance on Azzholery but just couldn't pull it off because the elections snuck up on him.

You nailed it.

No one cares if the National Arboretum closes.

Some people care if food stamps are cut off, but they're not the people politicians care about.

But eff with my Thanksgiving plans? Now we care.
