I think you’re talking about a different issue with a V and a D in it.   I guess it means at some point you scored, but at what cost?

At what cost?

No, I understand you want to position yourself as a deep thinker, but you’re offering level one crossword puzzle analysis.  We agree on the overreach of the FCC chairman, though your description of him acting like a mafia boss is absurd.  He is acting like a government official in power, as have others before him. Your boy Merrick Garland, stung from being elevated to the SC, is another example though he was much, much closer to mafia boss or worse.

In the end, your issue is with his employer.

No my issue is with the fcc and trump. Let me guess where I heard someone say "we can do this the easy way or the hard way"?  At least I try to think, you just shut your brain off.

If your brain was truly on, you’d acknowledge there is a long history of govt overreach on issues like this.  It’s nothing new, you just chose to have an anxiety attack over this one because you’re a big fan of the Kimmel show and are not a fan of the current occupant of the Oval Office.   Separate yourself from your tendency to emotionally spasm violently when someone says Trump, clear your head and open your heart.

Remember, this dialogue started with an acknowledgment by me ( Leh-nerd the Open Minded) said I have issues with it but it’s down the list of things conservatives are concerned about.  That hasn’t changed.

Oh…and compare  “We can do this the hard way…”  versus your liberal NY Senator declaring “ "Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you".

The typical limousine liberal likely finds no issue with the latter but clutches pearls over the 17th ranked late show comedian getting put on ice for a bit.  Whatever.

4th and long is not interested in honest conversation. He's simply a troll.

I think it’s his 100% commitment to perpetual negative energy that intrigues me.  Now, you add in the emotion rollercoaster he’s on over Jimmy Kibble’s time in detention, 4th is a must read.

I’ll tell you this—-if that Real Housewives of TBD ever comes to fruition, 4th is a lock for a starring role.

I’m not a real big Eyeroll guy.  I tend to  respond directly, though I think you’ve posted some really, uh, interesting stuff of late that deserved the eyeroll.

Like, Madonna getting plastic surgery to chase her 20s and looking at times like Edgar Winters in his 40s instead of just accepting Madonna in her 60s worthy eyerolls.

Don’t be Madonna in her 60s, Kay, and I’ll have management call off the eyeroll dogs.  A quick note—-I’m also the labor eyeroll guy, and often am dismissive of directives of that nature.

I’m referring specifically to my post on September 11 in the “24 years after 9/11 - Democrats are now terrorist sympathizers” thread. I characterized Zohran Mamdani’s policies, and then you proceeded to give me an eyeroll emoji response without any further explanation! Did you seriously think I would just forget that incident and move on??

What other recent posting content of mine has been so worthy of your condescending eyeroll emojis?? Oh…are you referring to the time that I threatened to decapitate you with an axe and subsequently bury your body in the Adirondacks? Followed by the ritualized cannibalization of your major bodily organs for dinner, to go along with a fine bottle of Chianti and a vegan dish involving fava beans? That’s called “literary parody,” Leh-nerd. The instructive absurdity resides in your visceral revulsion to my gory story, juxtaposed with your rather indifferent emotional responses to the intrinsic REAL-WORLD violence of both Israel’s ethnic cleansing and omnivores’ diets. As a natural empath, it pains me to see my political subforum friend stumble through life with such parochial preconceptions.

Moving forward, Leh-nerd, let’s please strive for more responsible use of this website’s eyeroll emoji response option. Every time you fail to supplement an eyeroll emoji response with any explanatory text, another fibrous strand tears in the delicate composite thread that is PPP’s subforum social contract.

Nah. He usually answers a one sentence post with 200 words. There are several other posters who reply to comments with emojis. They’ve wasted the little intelligence God bestowed on them.

How long until this person that actually respects the constitution is fired?

"MAGA" will forget about whatever rule it is they can't find in a few weeks, this will blow over, Kimmel will be back on released from his contract so he can go somewhere else, and they'll move on to the next shiny object, be it MAGA-ZA, Greenland, Canada, a remastered score from Cats, Don's 4D play to act like he has dementia but secretly not actually have it, the "fake news" starvation Gaza, or whatever else -

If these several posters did Black Face, would you support us like Jimmy Kimmel?

There has to be another media conglomerate out there that needs a money-losing show for tax purposes.

Or a good lead-in for their morning program that begins several hours later.
