psuscott16 Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Flying in from Colorado Springs to go to the Bangals game. Wanted my daughter to see a game in the old stadium where I went to many games in the 90s when I was her age. Question - how far out should I buy tickets? Ill probably need 5 and dont want to push it too close to game day for fear that we won't find any or the price will go up. Thanks! 1 Quote
estro613 Posted September 14 Posted September 14 I've been at it a long time both selling and buying Bills tickets. I can tell you 95 percent of the time you find the best price 24 hours before the game. People pay a premium to buy their tickets early and have their seats locked in and not have to worry about it. If you like living a lil on the edge and gambling/saving money I always suggest waiting and being patient. As an example I've had my eye on some tickets to the Bills game tomorrow as I live in NJ. The prices on stubhub are down about 30-40 percent from where they were just 2-3 nights ago. Prime seats that were 800-900 each are $475 tonight. Corner lowers were $250ish they are now $150ish. You can save some serious coin by waiting. The slight issue you'll have is 5 seats together is a bit of a unicorn situation. 2-4 tickets are much more prevalent, therefore you can usually find a good deal on these quantities. I still think you'd be better off waiting, though. Live on the wild side! 1 1 Quote
boyst Posted September 14 Posted September 14 If you're serious about this and can wait... Then trust me, last minute. Since it's for your daughter and I'm soft to that with my own I will proudly help you through this to buy like I do. And it works, many here have seen me do it and may attest. I will offer my assistance to help.you through this and you can PM me if you want, I'll give you my cell when the game comes closer Don't buy anything early. Waiting until the last few hours is perfectly fine. I won't give all my secrets away here but I got a playoff seat for $85 that was front row when everyone around me paid $600. 5 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted September 14 Posted September 14 As above, buy them a day or two before the game. Quote
Neo Posted September 14 Posted September 14 I raised four rabid Bills fans in Tampa. They’re representing in four different cities across the country later today. You’re a good dad getting her involved from Colorado Springs. You’ll share Sundays with her for fifty years! Dads and daughters. Nothing like it on the planet. 3 2 2 Quote

HOUSE Posted September 14 Posted September 14 I wish you luck, the Cincinnati fans are looking too. Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Here's my advice. You're already on the hook for plane tickets, likely a hotel and food while here. Why risk it on tickets? Get the tickets early so you have the peace of mind and can spend your trip enjoying the event and time with your daughter/family. That way too, you can go on the ticket sites and pull up the view from your seats to build some excitement. 1 Quote
Breakout Squad Posted September 14 Posted September 14 I personally use Seat Geek. I think it’s a great app. Can see exactly where the seats are and the view from the seats. Plus you can see the prices with taxes/fees included before you checkout. 2 Quote

The best pricing will be the morning of the game. 3 of the people that went with me last week bought their tickets at 6:30 PM from the parking lot. They paid $120 less a ticket than the day before. boyst Posted September 14 Posted September 14 118 listed on SH. That's a solid number. All in the $300 ticket for upper bowl. That's about $20/ticket over what i would expect the prices to be and $100 more total. $600 lower bowl, way too high. I'd expect some of that to drop, considerably. I'll investigate if they're selling them exclusively as 5 packs or 4 seat minimums. That's a major factor. Either way, I would hold still. Quote
