Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted Friday at 01:45 PM Posted Friday at 01:45 PM Or would you rather see him go to prison?
Roundybout Posted Friday at 01:55 PM Posted Friday at 01:55 PM No, but I believe that no civilized nation should have a death penalty. 2 2
Royale with Cheese Posted Friday at 01:56 PM Posted Friday at 01:56 PM I wish we could bring back the electric chair. This man did more damage than kill one man. He gave trauma for 2 of his children and his wife. This will never leave their mind and that means they will always, always have pain. Why does that person get a comfortable death? Why does he get to die peacefully when he caused another man to bleed out in front of hundreds of millions? I'm sick and tired of horrible, rotten human beings getting treated with decency. I'm not saying torture them like the Vikings 700 years ago. I'm not saying treat them like a Vietnam POW. But the chair was banned because they thought it was too inhumane. What the murderer did was inhumane. 1
SCBills Posted Friday at 01:57 PM Posted Friday at 01:57 PM I don’t believe in the death penalty, but some of these people are testing me lately. Still vote no. I view it as playing God. 1 2

Bray Wyatt Posted Friday at 02:17 PM Posted Friday at 02:17 PM All the video evidence showing it was him, the pre meditation behind it, the political aspect involved, yes this is a capital case and should be tried as one. It should serve as an example to anyone else who would think of doing something similar.

They lived in a state in which has the death penalty. He chose to commit a death penalty level act. So he is responsible for the trauma that his family will face for him getting the death penalty. It's not more the merrier, this is justice. At least that family can understand why their murderer was killed. He committed capital murder and justice was served. Don't even compare that level of trauma to the family that had to watch their dad bleed out because of his opinion. That is ridiculous if you believe these are even. 2

You started by screeching for the return of the electric chair to fry people alive. How are you any different from Tyler Robinson? You can't see that it will be a huge trama for the family of a person killed by the governmnet? Now you are dehumanizing his family. He has a mother, you think she will be like, oh whatever. That's not justice, its two wrongs

That's not justice, its two wrongs Well Tyler Robinson did kill an innocent man with a rifle two hundred yards away in the public in front of thousands. Can you let me know when I did that? The trauma that his family will face was caused by him. He committed a crime in a state that has the death penalty and he committed a crime at the level. We aren't bringing it back just for him, it was already there. This is his fault and not the governments if he gets executed.

You support frying people alive, that sure sounds like you are a great person And no, if the governments kills him, they government did that. Makes no real distinction who did it, his mother will be tramatized by it, your efforts to dehumanize her not withstanding

So please, give me of an example of when I did that. Nope. Did you know that is also traumatic for family members to see a family member locked up in prison the rest of their lives with no possibility of parole? Prisons are very dangerous. People get horribly killed in prison....did you know what happened to Jeffrey Dahmer? Think about this murderers parents that have to live every day knowing their son will never see the light of freedom and his life is potentially threatened every single day. So, should we not even send him to prison because of the trauma it will cause his family? I'm a father myself, if my son was in prison for life, I would be in pain the rest of my life. It would very painful to me knowing that he's living in an 8x8 cell for 23 hours a day and could be raped or killed at any time. So if prison does that to parents, maybe no one should go to jail?

Yes or no. Would it be traumatic for a family knowing a family member is in prison the rest of their lives and each day they could be attacked? It's a yes or no question. That means there are only two possible answers, there is no other options. Yes or no.

I view it as playing God. I've gone back and forth on this in my lifetime. I am now at the point where I think the death penalty is justified in some cases: clear and obvious guilt (that is, something even higher than beyond a reasonable doubt), plus evidence of some serious aggravating circumstance. That would include a political assassination, like this one.
