There has been 54,000 new chapters.

The Dems will not have control of the House for a very, very long time.

Do not underestimate the republicans ability to eff it up. I beg you.

No, I’d say he would be using his usual brand of inflammatory cherry-picked rage bait that kept the clicks and donations coming.

Sure man.

Im not saying this to be snarky, and given you didn’t follow him - I get why you don’t understand.. but Charlie Kirk being assassinated is a massive deal.

The way he was assassinated, even more.

The lefts reaction, even more.

You severely underestimate this moment and what he A) meant to young people and B) his killing invoked in normies and C) how much his killing flipped a switch on the right

Well, it looks like the party that was all opposed to cancel culture is all about it now. Interesting, but not surprising. Such is the stupid times we live in.

This "switch" was flipped long, long ago. Kirk just exposed it. The right wants complete, authoritarian domination over the US. They have made it very clear that they will cheer on the suppression of any political enemy through any means necessary. They ignore the courts and laws. Trump is participating in open bribery with Qatar and UAE and no one cares.

"Normies" have moved on. It's just you that are still screaming and flailing.

It's amazing.  I get the reaction to the abhorrent comments and glee over the murder made on social media.  I don't begrudge private actors acting as they wish relative to those comments.  ABC can to the same, I suppose.  But, objectively, I don't think what Kimmel said merited ABC's overreaction.  It was political commentary, and it's arguably true.

Holy ***** you folks are arguing this like there isn't 1 simple truth.

Kimmel wasn't drawing money the juice wasn't worth the squeeze. About 1.5mm people were watching him. It was just a good reason to cancel his show.

The next one I'm curious will be Stern. But , he still draws money Sirius barely has but his demographic is all too old to make a dent. He is Imus. I was a mega stern fan when he was funny and liked Kimmel a whole lot too

Whatever you say.

My entire social media timeline (mix of NY and GA/SC) has people posting Charlie Kirk clips.  People I’ve never seen say something political in my life.

And because that’s anecdotal, I gave you actual numbers… voter registrations, vigils, church attendance, TP USA new chapters.

You can play it off, but the Turning Point growth alone will have lasting effects.

It does not require an apology and it was quite funny.

Snowflake MAGAs have zero humor if it doesn’t involve the screaming chick from 2016.

I didn't find it funny.  But it's arguably true.  The murder is being politicized by some (including Trump, from this vantage point), and it appears that the murderer was a child of MAGA parents.

How TF do u keep saying this after what we witnessed the last 10 years??

Trump was spied on, prosecuted ad nauseam, fake impeached, deplatformed from social media, almost assassinated twice.... all because the opposing party didn't like him.   Were you the least bit worried while all that was going on?

How is it arguably true? Can you spell it out in any detail at all?

Let me guess, the Dems approval rating has increased after the Kirk Assassination and the flooding in Texas with a DEI reformed Fire Department Leadership.

You’re using YOUR personal timeline, filled with people you chose to follow, with an algorithm tailored to pump matching content into your brain, as a litmus test? Probably the same place you got those numbers.

For instance, how are there 54,000 new chapters if there are only 5,500-odd colleges in the USA?

My timeline is full of people shocked at the attack on free speech, mixed with memes of Charlie that I can’t post here.

The Dems have failed to do anything to stop the MAGA authoritarian takeover. No kidding they’re unpopular.

Sure.  The kid comes from a MAGA family and grandma didn't know any Democrats in the family.  Also, when asked about his grieving, Trump quickly changed the subject to his waste of money ballroom that nobody but him thinks is a good idea.  There you go.

They use the same system!

Okay, there are 27,000 high schools in the US. So, you're at 32,000, assuming EVERY ONE OF THEM got a new chapter.

See how this falls apart?

Gosh. When you put it like that it all seems arguably true!

His parents and friends said he went left and became more political.

He had a transgender boyfriend and said he did it for him.  He said he hated everything he stood for.
You are going to sit here and say he was MAGA?

Yes.. it falls apart if you’re ridiculously literal about it.

54,000 chapter requests.  Yes, im sure some of them come from people at the same colleges and high schools.

Currently Turning Point has 900

chapters.   And they were able to move Gen Z massively to the right.
