As a born and raised WNYer and a proud alumnus of Indiana University, I wholeheartedly approve of this.  Can't wait to be able to wear a Bison emblemed shirt on Saturdays and a Buffalo emblemed shirt on Sundays.  Go Hoosiers! Go Dawgs! Go Bills!

I'm pretty sure a buffalo and a bison are the same animal lol

 

One is scientifically appropriate and bison and buffalo is like general terminology

 

The American bison are also called buffalo

Yes I know that (so does every WNYer).  That was the humor in my post.  IU is calling the mascot a bison, thus it’s a bison shirt.
