Unless he was the one shooting them off.  The post says Najee Harris was present at a 4th of July event where a fireworks mishap resulted in injuries.  It may have left out the part where it says Harris was holding the fireworks in his hand when it blew up.

Next week there' will be another post saying Harris doesn't expect to have any difficulties holding onto the ball with 8-1/2 fingers.

It makes it sound like some city sanctioned event or something until you read that it was after midnight in the street, so it was just him and some buddies being irresponsible, which is how all firework injuries happen.

Yeah, it was funny how his camp worded it. Thats why I provided the google maps street view of exactly where it happened. Nothing good is happening there after midnight.

Nothing good EVER happens after midnight. NFL players should make it a rule to be home by 11:59 at the latest. That would keep 95% of them out of trouble.

It was already kinda out. The internet had been buzzing this week with rumors and rumblings that something definitely happened and everyone was speculating on the severity. The longer it went, the worse the expectations got. I had seen chatter that he lost his eye completely. I guess this is their way of addressing and downplaying it.

I was half joking about 8-1/2 fingers but I can recall as kids, kids throwing M-80's at other kids and aiming Roman Candles at people 30 feet or away..  Good chance this was a semi self inflicted thing
