Can't do better than that, and the follow up weapons seconds apart were of extreme importance, and they nailed that as well. What happens after detonation is structural design vs. physics, and out of the strike groups hands. If the intelligence was correct. If the intelligence was timely. If they were not fooled by misinformation. You can't see underground. It's lke dropping depth charges on a submarine without sonar. The main compound could of literally been miles away underground, and unlike with a submarine, no debris will float to the surface. If the US had real actionable intelligence about exactly where the bombs should go, they probably smashed up the place real good. But if this was guess work, who knows. 1
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted June 26 Posted June 26 @JDHillFan What are you rolling your eyes at? Military missions are gambles, maybe they work, maybe they don't. In 1999 Yugoslav forces tricked NATO into bombing fake targets. Deception is a major part of war
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Obama's deal had no nuke for Iran for 15 years. This bombing, if successful, only pushes it back a few years. Should have stayed with Obama's excellent deal 2 1

In 1999 Yugoslav forces tricked NATO into bombing fake targets. Deception is a major part of war I expect years of satellite imagery of personnel and vehicles moving in and around the facilities have provided a good deal of information on the specific coordinates of the facilities. Combine that with eyes on the ground thought to be providing intelligence. Add electronic eavesdropping and "pinging" cell phone coordinates of known participants in the program. Maybe even debriefings of U.N. inspectors as suspected by the Iranians? I would expect all that and other intelligence produced the high degree of confidence about the targets that was necessary to green light the mission. As for deception in war, absolutely. There's good reason it's said "the first casualty of war is the truth". 1

I honestly can't understand the absurd levels you will crawl to in order to throw doubt strictly, and obviously, because of political bias. To this situation, when I read your posts on these matters I often conclude you are stuck in a twenty or more year knowledge gap. Everybody knew about this site, what it was for, how it was constructed and how best to attack it. We have satellite and many, many other sources to firmly establish these things that are way more capable than they used to be. They weren't "tricked" and they delivered the weapons exactly where intended. Fabulous press conference by the way. Glad I got to watch the entire thing. Late entry regarding the press conference. As if the media can look more stupid, that insane suggestion of sexual bias was as stupid as humanly imaginable. Whoever is signing her checks should stop them. Edited June 26 by sherpa 1 2

Even Trump and Hegseth are doubting--until they aren't--the damage done. You don't know, I don't know, Washington doesn't know exactly what damage was done or not. Satellites can't see underground Even with all that, Obama pushed the timeline out 15 years, this bombing, at best, only a few years. Trump should have stayed in the deal.

You are creating scenarios in your mind to make it seem likely that it failed. Munitions have evolved. Intelligence gathering has evolved. The Israeli’s are the best in the world at the intelligence game. You prefer to believe the Iranian’s are sly as a fox and have miles long underground lairs that no one knows about. Meanwhile mullahs are being dusted as they take a dump. Nobody wants to stop you from believing/hoping it’s all a failure. 2

As to the military strike, no, its just the truth, we don't know. You are hoping its a success to the point you believe it is. But you don't know I'm just being rational. Ya, the guy with the upside down flag is the rational one, lol. Chew on that! I gotta go, putting a belt on my John Deere tractor mower, wish me luck, ugh

Big Blitz Posted June 26 Author Posted June 26 (edited) We should be getting Iranian video taken by Homeloser any minute now showing that pieces of the secret underground nuclear facility that was just there to develop power for the good people of Iran the regime cares so much about, are still there. The debris will be proof it wasn’t completely annihilated to dust. Commies - oh look I see pieces of a ceiling!!! Edited June 26 by Big Blitz

On one hand, you say that we don’t know where the sites are that are holding nuclear material and facilities while on the other hand you’re saying that Iran wouldn’t have been able to enrich uranium without us knowing about it. Doc Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Again, the statement that carries the most weight with me is Iran admitting that their facilities were “badly damaged.” They wouldn’t want to admit that to their people and the world and it no doubt underestimates the amount of damage done. 1
muppy Posted June 26 Posted June 26 is it possible that people Want the military exercise to be an unqualified success, Elimination of nuclear threat accomplished. YAY for how long? Hopefully forever. AGAIN the fact a person would like some assurances and proof is not only reasonable but essential to process how effective said bombings were. I would tend to trust our military did a great job and hit targets intended. they acted well IMO But please let me say this for the simps that think questioning the bombings effectiveness is somehow traitorous, unAmerican and wrong what a crock of mierda. With more facts being made will take care of a LOT of doubts. Until that happens, and it seems to be happening, give me a break on the unamerican traitor smack. It's weak and makes you sound foolish. Yes Im talking to YOU Naranja 2

So either they didn’t know the strike was coming or they just let it happen. Which do you think is more plausible? That's besides the point. It's what they did with the enriched uranium before. That is their main concern, to save that. They obviously do not want to escalate war with the USA by killing our pilots. Edited June 26 by 4th&long

Way better cutting job.

Even if they were able to move the uranium, of which there’s no evidence, they need those facilities to weaponize it.
