It is not 600 or Doge would have cut them all. Trump says they subsidize Canada and have 150 troops, but they still have 75000 in Germany? Hmmmand 150000 in Saudi Arabia  hmmm.

Why guard the oil guards, US doesnt need them. Trump says he doesn't need Canadian oil because the US produces all they can use! They don't need anything from Canada but need to protect Saudi Arabia hmmmm

The things you say make sense in how US has usually seen themselves in the world. I support your reasoning. But juxtaposed against what trump rambles on against his ex friends of America has got to make you pause and go hmmm.

10 years ago I never could have imagined the US citizens could live through this type of lies. His truth is more bs than taking out Saddam was for WMDs.

Count by country of US military bases not counting CIA operations.

See point number 2 - enforcing the petrodollar system. Nixon made this deal way back when with the Saudi's and OPEC. With world oil demand at around 104M bbl/Day at a low ball price of $60/bbl that's a total potential daily demand for 6,240,000,000 US dollars. Ask yourself what happens to all those dollars if settlement changes to local currencies, some other currency, gold or crypto? Where are all those dollars going to find a home? Massive inflation. So the military is there to enforce the system. Anyone trying to buck the system without permission after diplomatic and economic actions fail to persuade them to stop, places like Libya, Iraq, Iran, Syria, get treated to the full force of US military power.

Excuse me, but trump is talking about getting out of NATO, not help defending countries who the US was once friends with, about being isolated...so why spend billions defending an oil payment system he doesn't need to use, and cut Medicare. This makes Hunters lap top look like a Commadore 64.

Président Trump's visit to the Middle East is of historic importance not because of the foreign investment he claims to have secured for America. The numbers are largely irrelevant since these for the most part are only statements of intention and not in any way real commitments. The Arab states could change their minds tomorrow without consequence.

What President Trump has accomplished is in fact of far greater importance. He has in his remarkable speech exploded the traditional neocon mantra of American foreign policy in the Middle East (and I might add in Ukraine) which he correctly understands not to be in America's national interest. It's not clear that he will be able to follow through because of the opposition he will encounter from the paid shills in both parties in Congress but if he succeeds he will prove himself to be a greater man and President than Bush, Clinton, Obama and, needless to say, the criminal Biden, at least with respect to foreign policy.
He will deserve, and will have earned, the Nobel Peace Prize.
