I'm just pointing out that shifting production from China to India doesn't really do anything for those would-be American manufacturing jobs. You've missed the details underpinning the alliance if you think it's only about shifting cheap manufacturing. It's about mutual investment over the next serval decades in areas of technology, energy development and military hardware that will counter China's growth. 1
