Games 1 and 2 are a no brainer. Let's Go Yankees.

Takes Fried out after 99 pitches, no pinch runner for Goldschmidt after he gets on base. I am done with Boone. Rodon needs to pitch the game of his life and the Yanks better score early and often to get the lead by more than just one run. Let's Go Yankees. Season is on the line today.

Seasons can end fast in the wildcard round. Everyone here in Cincinnati was so happy to have made the postseason, and it will most likely be over in just two days.

Why is the Bills website wishing good luck to Toronto?

Pretty simple. They are trying to grow a foothold in the Toronto market. They have the two greatest players in Toronto Raptors history as minority owners, and they are trying to use that. There is no way for the Bills to gain any coverage and grow their fanbase in the greater NYC market. It's just business.

Remembering how poor fan support the Bills got during the Toronto series era - where those Toronto "home" games started to feel like away games - makes me want to root for the Blue Jays even less.

Sometimes, getting a title is all about being resilient.

 

I like their chances of pushing it to a game 5 w/ Rodon and then Schlittler, at home.  Right now, it's about just getting it to game 5.

Nice comeback win last night. The Yanks got lucky the Jays LF didn't call off the shortstop on the fly ball which he dropped and then it was all Yanks after that led by Judge with the 3-run HR to tie it. Game 4 today. Hopefully they can send it back to Toronto for game 5.

Likely because the farm team plays in Buffalo.  I've followed Bichette and Guererro from Buffalo to Toronto.  NYC does not represent Western NY.

Volpe struck out 14 of his last 19 but his name sounds Italian so he had to be in the lineup.  Let the 2026 spending spree begin.

As a Blue Jays fan and a Father of a son who absolutely loves the Yankees I cant say enough about Aaron Judge.   Absolute monster and a guy who does everything right.   Cant think of a better player for my kid to watch.

So disappointed the Jays drank Budweiser to celebrate how is labatts not on ice?

Just thinking taking this disappointment in …. Again.  Sitting here in October feeling the exact same way I’ve felt in January almost every year since 2017.  

The parallels with the 2017 - 2025 Yankees and Bills are pretty freaking close.  I know the Bills started the postseason run by 2019 but still….

 

Both teams have the best players on the planet in their sport.  
 

Both teams dominate the regular season. 
 

Both teams its process process process.  
 

Both teams post season fail after fail.  
 

Management more so then the coaching has let both teams down by either building a flawed roster or an incomplete one.

 

And yea the sports are different one man can carry you in the NFL playoffs (the QB) more so then in the MLB.  

 

But my frustration with Bills management is reaching where I’ve been with Yankees management a few years now.  In 2024 the Yankees finally went out of their comfort zone and took a shot with Soto.  They just ran into the Dodgers juggernaut.  
 

The Bills need to make that kind of move.  Soto’s impact on the team carried into this year.  Maybe it’s trading into the top 10.  Maybe it’s trading for an elite WR regardless the lip service we give everybody eats.  
 

You just need blue chips.  You need studs!    
 

Judge will be 34 in April.  I still think bc he developed later and he’s a ridiculous athlete he has 3-5 years of elite in him.  
 

Allen will be 30 in May. 
 

Winning it all just isn’t a given.  Manage this team like nothing is given - like our division this year.   
 

 

—-Sad Yankee fan that at least has witnessed 5 WS titles.  But there is now a generation of 20 something fans that don’t remember 2009, see we have Judge and are justifiably really angry.
