Don Otreply Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Started off; taking a step back, will finish third in the AFCE, finished with fifth consecutive division title, making it to the AFCC game, going into the off season with ten, (10) draft picks and some cap space, I’m back, we have as good a chance at success as any team in the league! GO BILLS!!! 5 Quote

Bleedbuffaloblue Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Given the season they just had and still a lot of areas that need and should see improvement in this offseason I believe the team’s prospects for 2025 are quite bright. See no reason why we can’t expect another trip to the AFCCG and hopefully this time the football gods shine on us for a change. Gotta go all out for that #1 seed and home field throughout the playoffs. Set the tone early and take no prisoners. GO BILLS! 1 Quote
Sweats Posted February 5 Posted February 5 With the amount of draft capital we'll have next season and opening up a bit more cap space, i'm feeling confident that we're going to put together another team that can compete, however, keep in mind that other teams in the AFC that only have a few more puzzle pieces are coming in hot themselves. 1 Quote

Our chief competitors are in divisions that will get more competitive, so hopefully, that will work to our advantage to get #1 seed. We averaged 30 ppg with some dinged up skilled players, so next year we should be able to do better. Improving the D has to happen. 1 1 Quote

Like kicking the FG for the tie in Houston (saving time outs), taking a breather and having a 50/50 shot to win in overtime. Chances are we win that game. Or...kicking the FG in LA, taking the one point lead and trying to get a stop(after running down the clock and with TOs). Getting stuffed on 3rd then hurrying to run the same damn play again and not having the awareness of ...well anything imo was stupid. We had the opportunity to have the one seed, play one less game and have KC at home. Ever since 13 seconds, these gaffes seem to keep occurring. While I'm grateful for the season's successes, hopefully next year we go all the way. That's my quick season perspective. Edited February 5 by nosejob Quote

I am not sure where you are going with the FG in Houston, I would add the use of playcalling and Time Outs in the Rams game.. and of course the KC game.. I think what I am saying if we do the right things in both player personnel and game planning our future is bright... will that happen... remains to be seen.. 1 1 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted February 5 Posted February 5 We have 2 young coordinators who no doubt had learned a lot this year. I see improvements with both of them going forward. Get a WR, fix the D and get back to the AFCCG. 1 2 Quote

We are now negative 10+ mill after incentives kicked in. Quote

It went from -$2M to -$10M when the reserve guys were signed, and it moved the total players above the Top 51. The NLTBE incentives come when the adjustments are calculated, which comes next month. 1 Quote
