The tariffs are going to be passed along to people at the register at Best buy, not to the Chinese. They aren't just going to stop manufacturing Lenovo laptops.

Do you really think they're just going to stop manufacturing and selling equipment? Go ahead and I'll try and order 10 laptops today. I promise you they'll be more expensive than they were 2 months ago, but you can still get them along with pretty much anything else.

Agree based upon covid times. Wearing a mask is a slight inconvenience and remember the defiant opposition by many to that. Sacrificing thousands of dollars each year for the Trump tax is an exponentially higher level of sacrifice that is being mandated.

China commerce has ceased It's never a good sign when an administration says to Amazon that showing the prices of the goods with tariffs to your consumers is a "hostile and political act" against our country. Basically admitting that every reputable economist is right when it comes to tariffs.

And are you concerned generally about mandated expenses, or just the Trump tariff version? Because…I’m thinking a reduction on govt mandated tax would go along way to softening the blow. Income, sales, excise, etc…

It wasn't about wearing a mask being a slight inconvenience but just a fear that what makes America great is our individual freedom. I didn't agree with them but I understood where they were coming from. It's why I despise this tariff policy. Why the hell should we give one guy the power to make us pay more for products because he happens to like tariffs and therefore hurts private companies and can kill small businesses. It's antithetical to everything this country is supposed to stand for.

An economy whose GDP is propped up by government spending —- for 30 years - is not an economy. It’s the end of the middle class. Things Democrats said 25 years ago. But they’re full fledged CCP commies now. The markets weren’t phased by the GDP news today - bc they were already factoring that in during the Great Recession of April 2 to April 21.
4th&long Posted April 30 Posted April 30 33 months the economy grew till Trump came along. Now that cu nt is trying to blame Biden. He needs to grow a pair.
