4th&long Posted Monday at 06:06 PM Posted Monday at 06:06 PM Trump chickened out as soon as he saw the ports in LA didn't have cargo. Shops coming in. I knew he would. 1

Is it a short term policy to make better trade deals with individual countries? Is it to create jobs and businesses in the manufacturing realm to come back to the United States? Are they trying to reorder global trade? In the end, this is pry what's going to happen though as Trump makes artificial trade agreements to satisfy his ego while not sending the country into a depression under his watch. Checks out over a month later. 2 1

It's probably not even about reordering global trade. Or even imposing a sneaky national sales tax (which is the end result). It's about ego. None of it makes the slightest bit of economic sense. 1

What kind of deal? About fentanyl? Or American manufacturing? Or opening Chinese markets to American services (which it should be about)? Or just some superficial nonsense that doesn’t substantively address the first two concerns and glosses over the third?

I heard inflation was down. Hail Trump! Sounds like you didn’t buy the dip. Not to worry - there will be more dips to come.
