It was foolish not to see that he needed a really strong team to be successful. Benching him ensures he wont get injured and they are only on the hook for $11M. It's terribly structured and far too convoluted. Raiders have no idea what they are doing. If he was starting and serviceable, it wouldnt be so bad. But Raiders will be paying tens of millions of dollars next year to a bunch of guys who dont even show up to work at those offices anymore.
