What’s actually radicalizing is watching people cheer on insurrections, wave Confederate flags, and idolize a man who tried to overturn democracy all while pretending to care about national unity. One elected official expressing pride in their heritage isn’t the threat. Funny how no one gets ‘radicalized’ when someone says they’re proud to be Irish or Italian first but if it’s Guatemalan or Mexican, suddenly it’s a crisis. The real danger isn’t cultural pride it’s the cultish nationalism that demands blind loyalty and treats diversity as betrayal.

None of us would say “I am a proud Italian before I am American”. Just take the L. Edited August 5 by SCBills 1
Big Blitz Posted August 5 Author Posted August 5 Omg Remember when she said inflation wasn’t real. Then blamed it on Putin. Then blamed it on price gouging and greedy corporations Now we need communism hahahaha Fun times. Disaster party.

Irish, Italian, and other white ethnic groups and politicians have proudly celebrated their heritage for generations - St. Patrick’s Day, Italian American parades, flags, festivals - all while calling themselves 'true Americans' without question. But the second a brown politician expresses similar pride in their roots, it's suddenly un-American? Please. Patriotism and cultural pride aren’t mutually exclusive unless you think they only coexist for white people - AND we know that's how you little people think. So no I'm not 'taking the L.'
Orlando Buffalo Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Every time I am convinced that the average is evil I am reminded that they literally don't know how to think and therefore can't be evil. To make this statement about Mars is so vapid and lacking any version of intelligent thought I can't believe an adult actual said it.

I live in a heavy native american, mexican, area. You are simply wrong. My neighbors use their heritages to unite the neighborhoods and community. You want to use it to divide. That's the difference I see in your position. 1
Big Blitz Posted August 6 Author Posted August 6 Hahahahahahahaha Losers. Total losers with nothing to offer America. But plenty to offer the 3rd World (NYC, DC, LA, Chicago, Detroit, Guatemala, Somalia)
Orlando Buffalo Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Brian describes my suburb in Orlando perfectly, but our lack of "income inequality" is due to almost everyone having a good job. We even have the Bright line in Orlando for high speed rail, so it truly appears his complaints are aimed primarily at Dem run areas, which as he stated are dysfunctional 1

Trump has indeed divided the country on levels we haven’t seen in generations. I’m not saying it justifies these poll numbers but I find some of what has happened since he took that escalator ride as embarrassing for the country. And I’m (I think) a bit more moderate. I do get very passionate about two topics, yes, but even I now see a house or truck with a giant American flag on it and for a second think “Trumper” instead of “Murca” like I used to. So if I think that, just imagine what the ones who find everything he does as evil feel. This chart shows it isn’t just the purple haired eunuchs in my current state of CA. It’s 64% of Dems. So that includes people you know and respect. The question should be asked immediately after, “Why not?” I mean it’s pretty clear exactly when that line drops like a rock. I guess what I’m saying is again, it’s sad. But I kinda get it. And it’s in no way surprising. Edited August 7 by stevestojan

stevestojan Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) ⬆️ That must have taken you a long time to edit. And the chart doesn’t plummet when Biden got elected. But who am I to give my opinion and point out the obvious on that chart? Edit: and the chart didn’t look like that with Bush. I’d bet it didn’t look like that with his dad or Reagan either. It looks like that because of Donald Trump. Edited August 7 by stevestojan

Democrats pride in America was showing significant decreases during Obama - and it’s completely tanked under Trump. The Democrat party at its core HATES this country. It’s now full of 3rd world POS that are flat out saying we’re evil and Guatemala First or “I represent Somalia first.” No one should be voting for these people. They - and many born right here - have no clue what this country is and why we are not just some democracy first (the Founders did not believe that) that they cry about losing which is just code for “Democrats and their power in DC are losing.” Ukraine first, Hamas First, LGTBQPLUSDHYIM first. It’s a completely unserious party now spiraling to full blown socialism. And the morons here that just 5 years ago may have opposed that are now talking themselves into “sure let’s try and let the state run the grocery.” No ideas. No solutions. And it’s because they know their Covid lunacy broke everything.
Big Blitz Posted August 7 Author Posted August 7 My favorite part of this thread: NOT ONE post by a Commie here showing us the “good” the Democrats are doing - anywhere circa 2023-2025. NOTHING. 1
