Cue the usual suspects bemoaning his "whining" and sticking up for the state and the mega-corps

Then the chorus hits:

"I just know I didn't used to wake up feeling this way
Cussing myself every damn day
There's always some kind of bill to pay
People just doin' what the rich man say
I want to go home"

does he make lots of waaaah sounds with screams of pain and crying in the song?

Bills fu.k.c own goal again...

He takes a snippet from one of his woke masters and tries to dunk with it....

Problem is, and its always a problem with useful idiots like Billstool, is what Oliver Anthony actually says in the clip...

After he says diversity is our strength...and this is where ***** stains like Billsjizz stop listening...

He continues....

"We need to harness and appreciate it and NOT USE IT AS A POLITICAL TOOL to keep everyone separate from each other.."

Bills*****:

PPP Court Jester

All time own goal scoring champ.

I don't have an issue with the fake (or to be more accurate, exaggerated) accent. All country singers do that, just like all old British blooze singers did that Mick Jagger thing that (they thought) made them sound black. A lot of hip hop artists today put on that fake New York black accent too.

But yeah ... something tells me there's more than a little astroturf in the sudden emergence of this grassroots troubador....

Yeah - but diversity - he likes DIVERSITY, Frank.

That’s a no no for MAGA.

Those were his own words, Karen

I know this is difficult after the investment you made in your new hero but it sucks for you that this guy actually  might be a good guy - unlike you.

Did anyone else pick up what KKKaren is really telling us about herself with this quote?

This shouldn’t be overlooked.

This quote isn’t the MAGA win you think it is.

Good ol’Ollie is driving home the fact that diversity is what defines our country…. While the cult is doing everything in its power to erase anyone not white, straight and male.

You are one sick kitty - seek help.

interesting commentary.  I don't see this snowballing.  Just not enough creative talent in the recent examples to sustain it.

Will never match the highly marketed and funded super groups/artist.

been that way with song writers and sub-Genres.

A perfect Richard Thompson song.

As an Englishman, he had a little fun writing it, using references to English place names in a heavily bluegrass influenced song. And he's such a great guitarist that he can pull it off playing solo.

McCoury I think substituted the more typical American place names.

"Red hair and black leather, that's my favorite color scheme."

yes, in the clip i 1st had he replaced Vauxhall with Knoxville.  This is one of my fav songs.  Another poet/artist/great guitar player is Darrell Scott.  I love Del tho.  Always looks like a funeral director but a genuinely nice man and a legend in Bluegrass.  It looks to me like he's pleased Billy Strings is picking up the reins.  Living in Bluegrass country I'm amazed at the God given talent.  There's a guitar contest for kids and adults alike in a state park once a year.  Winner gets a handmade Wayne Henderson (clapton waited 3 years for one of his flattops).  So damn much natural talent, and I'm stuck on fingerpicking "Freight Train" left handed with mistakes..
