He got stuck on an absolute dumpster fire of a team. Finally he's getting a chance to compete. Will he be one of the top QBs? Question remains whether or not they'll be able to sustain this but as I've said before Doug Pederson won a SB just 5 years ago and is one of the best coaches in the NFL. Big Blitz Posted September 26, 2022 Share Posted September 26, 2022 You see how they run the offense - they have a few quality running backs - one tore his Achilles 10 months ago, the other his Lisfranc 13 months ago - THEY RUN THE BALL WELL. That element has to be there. Not to be ground and pound. But to protect your QB and open the passing game - a running attack gives your QB time because the D line can't just tee off knowing it's a pass 95% of the time. DCofNC Posted September 26, 2022 Share Posted September 26, 2022 Peterson is a quirky guy, but you can’t deny he got some great results early in Philly and is showing promise in Jax. Lawrence was considered a sure thing, super star QB just a year ago, he SHOULD be good. Early indications, the game is slowing down and people better take notice.
