Gas is down, which should - theoretically - begin to lower costs in general.  
 

That said, certain groceries are not coming down.. and some are getting more expensive.   With Trump still steadfast on tariffs, he opens himself up (and R’s in general) on this front should it not get remedied by the midterms.

I just read the inflation rate has hit 3% for the first time since January it's been at 2.9% and holding fairly steady from what I'm reading but the shut down could hurt if it keeps going alls that is needed is like 5 Dems to reopen the gov't but they would rather have people suffer to get their gender surgery's and keep paying for health care for the illegals and for everyone else on Obama care .

Hoax.  Gender surgery has nothing to do with this.  The dispute considers ACA subsidies.  Republicans want to let them expire.  Democrats don’t, and are holding out for a deal on that issue.  So if you want more expensive health insurance,  then be mad a Democrats.  But if you think that the $20b we sent Argentina and the tax cuts for the rich should have instead been dedicated to reducing the expense of health care for ordinary Americans, the call your MAGA rep or drop a comment in the Alex Jones Twitter feed.

Who set the expiration date for these covid-era subsidies? Why do democrats (the people that set the expiration date to answer the question) want to extend covid-era subsidies? Democrats were fine with this date when they approved a CR earlier this year.

There reason why it is so high is because they pushed through Obama care with out anyone being able to read it to find out exactly what was in it and BS's everyone into thinking that it was going to be great because it was free but you could use your doctors and all the other BS that was found out after the fact, and it was a total cluster F from the get go it drove costs up because of it being Free or as they said "The Affordable Health Care Act" which was BS !!

 

The Dems want it to be like Canada's "Free Health Care" which everything else has to be higher to pay for it to be "Free" oh and if you have a dyer health situation you have to wait in line and could die because of it .

 

I just paid $4980 for a 23 mile ride in an ambulance they were able to get it down but health care is a joke because of the insurance companies ! $500 a month $6K deductible in network, $12k to $36 K deductible out of network then if you do get cancer insurance companies are starting to make you have a separate policy for that Insurance is a HUGE F N Scam !! 

 

I can remember a friend needing neck surgery the Doc told him if it went through insurance it would cost $14 K if he paid cash $8k Why too they can write a bunch of FN paperwork absolutely ridiculous and a rip off for the most part !

Democrats have effed up everything healthcare related and are now looking to save face - by having republicans give them what they want. The party is an embarrassment. The largest government employee union seems to agree.
