Merrick Garland's Justice Department Reviews J6 Committe Referrals

The headline is both true and deceptive. The true part is that the referrals from the January 6 clown show will have no impact at Justice. They know the nature of the people on that committee and the proceedings, as well as the rest of us. No one in the federal bureaucracy is going to make a career-endangering move based on something produced by Jamie Raskin and Liz Cheney.

Literally, no one in DC is that stupid.

The deceptive part is the narrative that Justice is carefully evaluating the evidence before making a decision. If you believe that you’ve not been paying attention to how Merrick Garland’s Justice Department operates. It is a political hit squad for the Democrat party. Its actions are based solely upon political expediency.

This is the bunch that raided Mar-a-Lago and allowed FBI agents to sniff their way through Melania Trump’s underwear drawer. These are the people who sent a SWAT team to serve a search warrant and then leaked bodycam footage showing the victim, former Justice official Jeffrey Clark, handcuffed in his boxer shorts just to humiliate him.

{snip}

The referrals received from the January 6 Committee will only be the opening act.

Donald Trump will be indicted on multiple counts based on the January 6 ruckus. A Democrat grand jury in Fulton County, GA, will indict him for his role in trying to change Georgia’s vote. A New York grand jury will indict him on issues surrounding the Trump Organization. In all cases, he will tried by a rabidly Democrat jury, and he will be convicted. You can also bet that these trials will be timed to occur during the 2024 primary.

Wait, what? You mean Pelosi and team is actually responsible for securing the Capitol?

Leadership and law enforcement failures within the U.S. Capitol left the complex vulnerable on January 6, 2021. The Democrat-led investigation in the House of Representatives, however, has disregarded those institutional failings that exposed the Capitol to violence that day,” it concluded.

The GOP report directly challenges security plan for Jan. 6. “Documents provided by the House Sergeant at Arms show how then-House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving carried out his duties in clear deference to the Speaker, her staff, and other Democratic staff,” it said.

It's what we've known all along.  I wonder what else we'll find when the J6 committee committee has their chance?

It is ironic that DR is sharing the GOP “rebuttal” pointing blame at Pelosi in a thread the simp created/titled:

January 6th 2021 mass trespassing

Sad that it’s Nancy’s fault for Trump inciting an insurrection and ignoring numerous calls to bring in the National guard.

Hilarious - when it comes to the cult - it is ALWAYS someone else’s fault:

Just stepping back and looking at how they handled this Commission shows yet another example of a really poorly run Get Trump hit job. These theatrical hearings simply dragged on far too long for the American public to give a damn anymore. Not that I wanted them to have the impact they were hoping for but whoever orchestrated this circus failed miserably! Talk about not being able to ‘read the room’. Sheeesh

Freakn hilarious to see these nut jobs even try to whitewash all of the events leading up to and after January 6.

If you’d put down the Trump hate for a second you’ll notice my comment was NOT about the content of the hearings. It was about their pacing. Someone needed to speed that thing along. They lost the room after the second or third intermission.

Very fitting indeed. But supposedly it will happen today....although I certainly wouldn't bet on it. What are we on now the 5th delay in releasing the pared down report?

Never forget that @ChiGoose assured everyone that this report, and most importantly, ALL of the transcripts of "testimony under oath" would be available for everyone  to read for themselves in September.

After all the committee is only after uncovering the truth!

We already know how it will be reported at least. THAT partisan committee's findings will be 100% mis/dis-information.  The regime's favorite catch all terms to defend the indefensible.

Oh lol - thanks for clarifying.

Now do the SO impactful Twitter files - what part are we on?

Talk about complete BS

How are the two related? You’ve really lost the ability to look at any of this objectively. I’m a Bills fanatic, and have been for decades, but I still know when they’ve f$&d things up. The Select Committee thought they were making Titanic but they should’ve seen that the audience had gotten totally bored well before the iceberg ever entered the stage. I know YOU loved every minute of  it but I cannot imagine how you’re not totally pissed at Adam Schiff for missing yet another free throw …again.

Jan. 6 Committee Fails Again and Proves It's All About the Drama With Latest Move

By Nick Arama

The Jan. 6 Committee was supposed to drop their report on Wednesday.

But as with everything to do with this Committee, they failed to come through with their report on Wednesday, just as they failed in their efforts against Republicans and failed in their effort to get the attention of Americans. Why?

How dare Volodymyr Zelensky interrupt such an important defense of democracy by the Jan. 6 Committee! What sacrilege!

It’s so typical of the Committee.

They weren’t going to be able to get the attention they wanted because of everything else that was going on, so they put it off.

They must have been boiling that Zelensky upstaged them. Not to mention the House Republicans’ report that preempted theirs as well and pointed a finger at the culpability of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for not telling the truth about her involvement in the security plans for Jan. 6 and the failure of security of that day. That must have made them truly throw a fit.

Show trials fail when they don’t get attention and that’s the real problem for the Democrats with all this.

The real reason for the J6 committee is laid bare

JAZZ SHAW

The final report from the January 6th kangaroo court was released last night, causing a great wave of hoopla and hyperventilating from the liberal media. The broad overviews of the report describe some sort of apocalyptic nightmare wherein the foundations of the nation’s democracy were shaken to their very core or something.

While considerable space was devoted to the actual individuals who rioted on that day (along with the far larger number of people who basically trespassed in the Capitol building), the primary focus of the report was, of course, Donald J. Trump and his alleged evil machinations enacted in an effort to overturn the election. But the real coup de grace was picked up by the Washington Post and they ran with it as their headline. “Jan. 6 report recommends Congress ban Trump from running again.”

But what’s important about the bizarre call for Congress to enact such a ban is that this was the entire raison d’etre of the committee from the beginning.

This was never about Donald Trump’s alleged role in the riot, a chaotic event that took place after Trump specifically called on his supporters to “peacefully protest” at the Capitol during his speech that day.

It was never about his failed efforts to find some legal mechanism to overturn the election or at least delay its certification while allegations of electoral improprieties were investigated. Liz Cheney pulled away the mask and finally said aloud the actual purpose of the committee.

What a waste of money.  Everyone knows the right way to keep your political opponent from running for President is to ask a foreign official to look into your opponent’s reported corruption. And even better if you ask on a phone call being listened in on by dozens of anonymous whistleblowers. That’d have been WAY cheaper!
