Alvin Kamara and Prince Amukamara walk in to a bar.

Prince says "Hey isn't that Ray Lewis and Pacman Jones over there?"

Alvin replies, "Yeah, just make sure you don't step on their toes or it could be a short night for you. I hear those guys can get a little out of hand."

Prince replies, "Maybe I'll steer clear of that table. I'm going to visit Kareem Hunt and Johnny Manziel over here."

the thing I don't get about all of this, is that Kamara seemed like a good dude, and then this happens.  Pro athletes need to surround themselves with better people.  Do teams have people to go with these guys to events in cities like Vegas to keep them out of trouble??

Chris Carter would say what he really needs is a fall guy.

I will say this though, I do see an opportunity to get him on the cheap after this. He is an elite play maker and I believe in second chances. Kamara would supercharge that RB position and Singletary would be the perfect backup to him.

I wanted us to try to get him somehow.  #1 pick maybe since they're rebuilding.

But now he seems to not be a PROCESS guy so its probably doubtful.

Now if Rex was still our coach ...

I’m not a lawyer, but I’m pretty sure that it’s not legal to pay somebody to not testify in a criminal inquiry. Maybe he could pay the victim to make a civil lawsuit go away, but not a crime. And even if the victim doesn’t testify, what more evidence do you need than the video and sworn statement they already have?

I believe this is correct but please an attorney chime in or policeman. I would think the state can proceed with its charges and then subpoena the victim to testify. Video is strong evidence. Imagine the pain that man is suffering today. OUCH. I think HE retains a good lawyer and takes Alvin to the cleaners. He has no self interest to settle this on the cheap right? I dunno..

First, Ray Rice and now AK41. Man, what is it with casino elevators and NFL players?! 😄

seriously though what the heck IS the issue with these guys ....gotta learn their lessons the hardest way I guess..........I wont pretend to understand criminal behavior especially from someone who has sooo much to lose. Brutal.

It’s bad character, no doubt. Did he cross an unforgivable line though? No. Punk kids get into fights because of pride, it’s much easier to just walk away.

But once again, shame on him for acting the way he did, but like most young men his age, he didn’t see the long play, but I think after getting suspended he’ll learn quickly. People mature and change over time.

if he and his crew jumped a line guy including kicking and punching him dozens of times after he was already on the ground - that’s pushing past just a fight.
