I’m so confused…How did you list Milano ahead of Tre as a “no brainer”?

That might be the worst gaff I’ve seen on here all season.  I love Milano as much as the next guy, but he’s not even close to Tre’s level.

This is the same Milano people here weren’t even sure they wanted to resign or not whose not even in the top 10 at his own position while Tre is not only one of the best at his position, but one of the best overall defensive players in the NFL.

Allen, Diggs, Tre are the only indisputable locks on this team.  Dawkins, Hyde, Poyer, Beasley, Hughes, Milano can all make a case for the final 2 spots.

And if we want to base it on the first 2 games…Rousseau and AJE are beginning to make their own cases for this list.

You’re entitled to your opinion. I don’t share it. I love Tre as much as the next guy, but opposing teams have no problem throwing his way every game/test him every game with some degrees of success, whereas they’re beginning to gameplan away from Milano. TreDay is a fine, Pro Bowl CB. Milano -when healthy- changes games. Imo.

“people here” ??? You don’t really want to use this in your argument, do you?

So far, it does seem to the untrained eye that Milano has been more impactful on the field than Tre White, but that’s not to take anything away from Tre. Milano has been balling, coverage, blitzes, tackles, he’s been a wrecking ball.

Allen, Diggs & Milano are no-brainers, so who are the final 2?

List should include Tre White, T. Johnson, Edmunds, Hyde, Poyer (Hyde/Poyer?), Bass, Dawkins & Beasley. The entire DL has improved but with constant breathers for every guy, no one plays much more than half the plays. If we had a ‘Bruce Smith type’ , he’d play most every play. Our OL is good, but not great. No one other Dawkins is even being considered League wide.

For me, Tre and Hyde, though I think Poyer is viewed more favorably by League followers. Micah just seems to always be in control of himself and makes savvy decisions all game, every game.

Who ya got and why?

You lost me at Edmunds.  Not sure he should even be starting on our team ahead of AJ Klein or Dodson or any team in the NFL for that matter.  Maybe put him on kickoff coverage since he is pretty fast and can just crash into guys since he sure can't tackle.

But as to your original question, Tre White without question.  Both our offensive tackles suck so far.  I would say Reusseau (how the hell do you spell that name-is he Cajun?) Epenesa and Oliver should all be considered.  Our safety's are both very good NFL players.  And Dane Jackson will become a topic of discussion in the near future.  The guy is a good football player.  Just needs the experience of playing in the NFL.  Has more upside then Levi Wallace.  (Oops I forgot that this is the Levi Wallace fan page.)  We are a team of a lot of good NFL players.  But not a lot of Superstars.

If Josh can take it up to last years level, and the defense keeps playing like it has, we are a strong Super Bowl contender.

Personally, I think it's an impossible question to answer.  I think after Josh, Diggs and Tre (yes I would put him in the top 3) we have quite a few players who are equally good and important to the team, for different reasons.  I might even have a hard time saying who I think the top 10 are.  Better scenario than years ago we could only identify Brian Moorman as our top player!
