SouthernMan
Ahh, but ripples never come back 320695 That is a great album - the turning point for Genesis. I listened to it a few weeks ago while cruising. Saw Genesis in Feb. 1977 at the Aud, touring for that album. Fully bearded Collins in his first time out front. It was the first Genesis album following Peter Garbriel's departure. I don't think I'd want to be on a desert island with any single CD, unless is was to use the reflective mirror side to signal for help from a resuce plane. Spiderweb
Led Zeppelin IV 1. Black Dog 2. Rock And Roll 3. The Battle Of Evermore 4. Stairway To Heaven 5. Misty Mountain Hop 6. Four Sticks 7. Going To California 8. When The Levee Breaks Dosen't get much better than that! 320555 Actually, the heavy blues inspiration in LZ's debut album, really does it for me. LZ 4 was and still is great though. Dazed and Confused Babe, I'm gonna leave you How many more times But then, for a single track, it's always been a toss up between "Dazed and Confused" or "Kashmir" as top song.... As for any of Collins' work I find it hard to divorce the good stuff from the adult contemporary garbage. As for the one CD, right now I'd still take "London Calling" by a nose. Ahh, still love to crank "Genesis Live" in the CD with some headphones and a good buzz, and listen to "the Knife"
bflo83
Make it three for London Calling. For pure energy I still prefer the first Clash album (UK Version) but London Calling would work better on a desert island.
